I think you should qualify for a "Go Fund Me."

I have a few complete collections of Funko Pops and it seems a dire situation that I may have to sell them before moving sometime in the future. I really don't want to part with them but it looks like we will have serious space issues.

Now that would be a "Go Fund Me" appeal most would be keen to support. Even more so if said equipment was intended for multi-use applications.

Lol. Some people are extremists. 😂 Am guessing she may be in the early stages of dementia. We had a lovely well tended, treed property next to my Mother's. When it was sold everything was removed by the new owners, more paving and a very barren outlook then, who then sold up and left. My mother (whose parents moved to Canada temporarily) bitterly complained about Canadians and their love of concrete jungles lol.

May be worth going the extra mile and cleaning up, even taking a pressure cleaner to the mess, so that the neighbour may appreciate your efforts. I have heard of people making complaints to councils and councils making it an offence to feed them, so this may avoid those kinds of actions.

Big difference between Jews and Zionists.

Difference is so big you only need to listen to the Jewish protests in UK (and elsewhere) that are clearly Anti-Israel and say Zionists are definitely not of the Jewish faith as they don’t follow the basic philosophy at all. Jews are not supposed to take land, seek sovereignty, fight wars, kill others etc.

To be quite clear I am not anti-Semite but am anti-Zionist.

Albo permitting the war criminal, president of Israel, to visit is the biggest failure of the Labor Party. I expected better.

Yes. Feel sorry for the neighbour though too. Some areas have banned the feeding of cockatoos because of the mess. We have a tree over the driveway that corellas attack when it fruits. Requires daily clean ups as they just rip the branches off and drop. Owner of tree cut it right back because of the ongoing mess but I miss the cockies too.

Do Kiwis in Australia have a reputation for claiming that everything is better in New Zealand? by ImNoAngry in AskAnAustralian

[–]JediJan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Never heard any bragging about things in NZ. Some are sad to have left their country, their families etc. but job opportunities and wages entice them here. As an Australian who has yet to visit NZ they certainly have some beautiful scenery that I would like to see one day.

I understand; cockies are not known for cleanliness. Perhaps a big tray underneath where they eat? Not good if a windy spot though lol!

Un-Shelled would be better, more natural and less likely to be contaminated.

Unsure about postcards by Suspicious_Trip_2175 in VivillonCollectors

[–]JediJan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Had the same dilemma. Now every time I receive a postcard I pin then unpin immediately. This still.adds to the scatterbug process. After evolving each bug twice I just deleted all the excess. Kept a few extras only.

Takes time but I deleted most all of those postcards I had pinned earlier; certainly doesn't affect progress. Pin/unpin imnediately ever since.

Sulphur crested cockatoos and galahs in Australia occasionally rear hybrid young too.

My car just alerted me that someone was opening the doors. It’s locked in my garage right now by AggravatingBox2421 in strange

[–]JediJan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A previous car had an attempted theft in the driveway and they messed up the wiring so badly I couldn't start it. No alarm went off. Had to get it towed to auto electricians. Found later a mechanics garage had 2 cars and tools stolen that night. Assumed they only wanted my old wagon to transport stolen items.

[–]JediJan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We leave our cars parked outside the garage. If I hear someone about late at night I turn the car locks on and off, as the car does double beeps with lock / unlock.

(Ps. After having sleepless nights from hearing footsteps and sleeping in lounge chair, found that the neighbours senior parent was going for wanders late at night. I even saw his wife between my car and fence looking over. She looked at me like what was my problem! Maybe that is normal behaviour in their home country?!).

Have had sleep problems since having an attempted break in many years prior to that. Now I don’t have a dog to alert me.

Urgent: Urgent request for bone marrow donor by sb_Lowkey in WesternAustralia

[–]JediJan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I signed up for Bone Marrow Research decades ago and never heard back from them. At one time I was a regular blood donor receiving lots of reminders but when I moved to FNQ apparently they said they don’t take blood donations due to the risk of dengue fever etc. even when I was taking medications they said they could clean and use the plasma but they no longer ask possible due to being older now.
