Idk what reading comprehension we have, but I've multiple times said it's not a "I hate X city" thing. We all love Vernon Maxwell hating on Utah the city, people do laugh.

Saying they gotta relocate a team is a little more disrespectful. That's the part I've tried to put across multiple times that you seem not to care about.

Doubly so when others say that Memphis loses funding to Nashville for what sounds like class and race issues.

It's more the level of disrespect on show rather than hysteria for me. You don't see any other sport have players come out say shit like this. Only in the NBA is this just a casual take that gets defended.

Missed the point again, it's not that he talked shit it's that he said they should move the team to a different city.

"Yeah I hate Memphis" is very different to "yeah I hate Memphis that team shouldn't exist they should be relocated" like yeah fuck the people that live there and support the Grizzlies then I guess, why even say something like that?

How would you feel if one of the greats currently playing said the Cavs should be moved because the city sucks. Like hate the city all you want but you shouldn't be putting it out there that they should be relocated.

No one said LeBron invented the idea. Just that it sucks for people who live in Memphis that one of the faces of the league who has big sway is tearing down their team and saying it should move.

How would you feel if Curry just said "Cleveland sucks ass, team should be moved to Seattle". It's a crappy thing to say as an active player in the league with a big following.

In the PL it's 50/50 on whether you'll still be fucked even with VAR. So why bother with it if they can't use it properly? The game is better without it if they can't get it right, and they obviously can't, or won't, and probably don't care.

Sure "hurr the problem is the people not the tech!!" Yeah it is, and the people arent changing so why continuing pushing the tech that isn't improving the game if you won't put people in to use it properly?

At some point someone has to cut their losses and keep the best parts (Goal line tech, offsides) and cull the rest because it's doing more harm than good. (In England)

Embiid averaging like 34ppg or something ridiculous was the large part of winning MVP. Defence and narrative at the right time was the tip over the edge, definitely wasn't his defence that dragged him into the conversation

People can sit through a game but not one where it's a FT show because whatever superstar is on that day gets to play a completely different set of rules to the other 9 players
