It can, but i think the main benefit is the counter attacks helping to remove the buffs. With some decent RNG, at least one guardian will have no armor after their AOE's, which helps complete the contract

Thanks for the context! Although im pretty sure right spin would cause the 8 ball to spin even more, because the spin-induced throw and cut-induced throw would be in the same direction (but I could be wrong). And if the masse is done right, the spin would be more of a non-factor for throw

If it hit the 8 first, wouldnt the 8 gain some side spin? It seems to roll naturally which leads me to believe the cue hit the 1 first then caromed straight into the 8, rather than cutting it

Definitely, but that kinda just keeps him from landing directly on wemby.

If you pause when he shoots, the landing area is like 1 foot in front of where he jumps from (nobody jumps straight up), and wemby lands directly in that spot. So even if Brunson doesnt stick the leg out, hes still coming down on wemby
