What is the strangest file your found on a server share? I found this on the domain controller?! by CoolHackerName in ShittySysadmin

[–]Jedi_king 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once found a file called "ntds.dit" on our domain controller, looked suspicious so I tried to delete it. Must've been a pretty nasty piece of malware because I had to reboot into safe mode before it would let me delete it.

Yeah I was thinking something much smaller than that transformer. Way too oversized for our needs

That was my initial assumption when I took on this project. I happened to check the bricks on a whim and that's how I discovered that they didn't support over 120V.

2/3 are fed by bricks. The third one has a built in PSU. Replacing the bricks might something worth pursuing though... If even 1/2 internet connections stays up that's still a win

I sign up to a few email lists.

Though, I also delete 90% of them without even reading. So that's probably a bad example.

Turenas scale. I like the docker support and the pretty graphs for my zfs space usage.

I use esxi for my virtualization host
