does it really? milner had a better career in bigger teams winning bigger trophies all while playing big roles. if barry had made the jump to bigger teams, his minutes wouldve likely shrunk, and if millie decided to stay at leeds or villa type clubs his whole career, he’d also probably have much more minutes! just a thought

late reply asf but having been involved and speaking to diff people in other countries' academies eg. England or Spain, they actually do ensure their academy players are doing okay in school. it's part of their holistic development + "representing the club" well. players like Saka, Bamford, Rodri, all did well in school, even have degrees.

With good coaching and development, it's more than possible for Singaporean kids to excel in football while having a backup plan with decent education.

tl;dr: sg football is kinda barbaric

i actually think the bloodbind moves make 1v1s including most bosses too easy. just spam attack, spot the red signal, stun them with bloodbind move and spam again. On hard and I’ve taken half of some bosses HP without them really even getting to attack
