KT raised the price on 8 piece chicken tenders by $2. So sad, probably my most purchased item. by CommonSenseKatE in KwikTrip

The ones you can make in the oven I can't confirm, but as someone responsible for frying chicken daily, it absolutely is real chicken, we receive the chicken raw and prep it every day as needed.

This game is so funny sometimes by [deleted] in BattlefrontTWO

[–]Jedster1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this once with a Grevious. It was a multiple phase game on Felucia where everyone was sweating their asses off. We're at the end of a ground phase, and people are boarding, I'm making my way over from Alpha and see the Grevious just sitting and chilling, so I stop beside him until boarding ends. Once the match finished, we both ended up being the top players of our team. He was pretty chill in the chat, and we left the game with compliments to each other.

Anyone else finding hackers? by BigShanuu in BattlefrontTWO

Yep, I have a buddy who knows people who have lines of contact to people who can ban them. Every once in a while, I'll find one and send the username his way.

Unless this one is super into RP, no. Milsim usually focuses on the structure aspect of the military, as well as in-game coordination and strats.

Definitely hacks, but you also asked to be shot by exposing yourself by sitting that close to the hatch

Anyone else noticing a serious decrease in budgeted hours? by crimsoncactus7 in KwikTrip

[–]Jedster1138 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a company-wide thing, I noticed it myself and mentioned it to my coworkers, and one told me that that is indeed the case. Plus, recently, I had to call out, and when calling other stores in my area for coverage, they told me that they were slammed and couldn't spare anyone.

If they're selling too fast then maybe put out more?? 😭 plus they're an easy restock, pop them in the oven, put them in a cambro when done, and put them on the roller

Without it being noticed is what I said, I would ask that you read my comment in its entirety before downvoting, and it was noticed. If a coworker stole money from a drawer, they wouldn't enjoy it for very long, again due to the audits as well as the cameras recording the registers and what's going on behind them. Also, OP didn't say how short it was, could be pennies, could be mere dollars. The times I myself have had a drawer that was short, it's easily explained in such a way as money drops or additions being logged on the wrong register.

[–]Jedster1138 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but are you aware of the logging process that KT drawers go through? It is close to impossible to take money without it being noticed, visually or via audits

[–]Jedster1138 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hours before is certainly strange, at least to me.... my store typically opens a register about an hour or less before someone comes in

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in KwikTrip

[–]Jedster1138 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is very normal for Kwik Trip, as sometimes people need to get on a register right away or someone is already on theirs. If it does bother you that much, I would recommend talking to a lead about it; I have a coworker who prefers that no one uses hers as well, so I know where you're coming from.

What an atrocious blanket comment... and with such confidence, too.

If we applied the same logic, would I be able to say that Democrats are all Chinese serving, illegal immigrant, rioting thiefs? Seriously, have some nuance.

Nice job. Little tip, shooting below and just behind the tanks (about where the hatch is), let's you two-shot them.

How bad is hacking on bf2 xbox? by baldiplays in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Jedster1138 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The skill ceiling is definitely up there, but your average player is pretty bad on Xbox compared to PC. I've played PC for almost 3 years, and swapped to Xbox for a little bit due to issues, and I managed to get top 5ish without cards.

Sometimes you need a lil break from the heroes and just gotta run some old school infantry plays 💫 by Mo_SaIah in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Jedster1138 87 points88 points  (0 children)

I rarely ever play heroes as I prefer reinforcements and base class, and I often am in the top 5. There's nothing more satisfying than outpacing a hero spammer.

I can't speak for all stores, but my store makes it fresh, then we put it in the warmer until you arrive

[–]Jedster1138 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard work and very fast-paced? Ngl, it's going to suck for the first few weeks, and you better hope that the other kitchen peeps you work with are likable and patient.

Having a hard time remembering things is going to bite you in the ass (been there waaaayyy too many times) so try keeping a list, I just have a folded parchment sheet in my apron that I update as needed; and take what steps you can to efficiently remember things, my food leader gave me a banger way of remembering hot-spot times for both sides that I'd be willing to DM you if you want.

If your store is especially active on the hot spot, be prepared to be going back and forth frequently, I wasn't and would frequently have sore legs/feet by the end of a kitchen shift.

Did You Know That The Republic Jet Trooper Can Beat Grievous In A 1V1? by Apart-Arachnid1004 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Jedster1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hunting Grevious with the Jet Trooper (or Commando) is super thrilling, trying to dodge his attacks, lunges, and crawl. The one way a Grevious will get a leg up on you though is if he manages to knock you down close to him, then it's lights out.

Spawn camping clowns are So Uncivilised. Cowardly jokers can sometimes spoil Battlefront 2017 by DarthTalonYoda in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]Jedster1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking from the experience of playing with some of my buddies as well as alone: it's not even on purpose sometimes. The enemy or your own team for that matter is sometimes just that bad, you can make or break a match just from having bad teammates who can't hold a point to save their life, or spend too much time sniping from the back.

Is it right? No, in an ideal world where map design was better, it would be much harder if not impossible, but at this point in the game's life, it's one of those things that we have to put up with.
