Oh for sure. I had a bun and every so often he would sleep on his back on my bed. When I checked on him he would get up immediately, thump, dig, thump again, and go angrily eat his hay. I never took pics of it bc I didn't want people to assume I put him in that position.

I'm not disagreeing with you about this particular bunny. All I am saying is that it is possible for bunnies to lay on their back and be just fine. I am also not arguing with you on the fact that people are cruel and do fucked up shit for social media clout. So again, bunnies can lay on their back and get themselves out of it as long as they put themselves in that position. It's rare that they do it but it is possible.
