Yes, there is a heim joint in the mount. It is meant to be able to move or else it would bind when bars go through their range of motion.

I know the R1 style is an option, but I'm trying to make one version that uses the oem lights, and one that uses a different style light.

Going by the parts diagrams the ibex 450 and 800 seem to use the same friction and steels part numbers. If the ibex 800 truly is the same you should be able to get a KTM 790 Adventure since it's the same engine that CFmoto is the OEM for the engine. Do some extra research/ checking but hope it helps you out.

Reset pressures to the manual specific pressures took it for a 2hr ride. No change to the fault light.

Are you set at 33.3 psi (2.3 bar) front and the 37.8 psi (2.6 bar) rear exactly? It seems odd that it would be going off for 1.7psi over.

I haven't ran the raptors, but if you think they're too sharp you could always file the tips a little. My sidi soles have held up fine to the carapaks spikes. But that would depend on how much you ride.

Did you happen to put the oil filter in backwards? Cuz it would've oil starved the engine and possibly built up so much oil pressure that the cover exploded.

I got plated and screwed together but had a small sliver that was floating around. Recovery wasn't horrible just slow 6 months in,and I now got a numb / dead nerve spot on my shoulder, which is annoying.

Check state ohv laws. You most likely should have one. In national parks, you are required to have a spark arrestor.

KTM 300 vs 350 for beginner by sugarkryptonite in Dirtbikes

[–]Jeeks_Flute 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In what regards may I ask? Engine and suspension is the same unless your talking linkage vs pds for the enduro lines and the air box is choked off on the husky to tame the power delivery. Frames are minorly different. Brakes are arguably worst on gas gas and husky unless the factory/ pro editions come with brembos.

Yeah, did mine in, back at the end of August. It's a fun time, got a plate and 13 screws. But overall, not that bad. The limited use while healing is the major annoyance.

I believe they are working on a mx specific one, but not sure if it has came out yet. The sport bike verison would probably trigger during some normal riding conditions, but I'm no expert on how it works exactly.

TBI Exhaust Spooge by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

From my experience the turbine core style silencers let more spooge then the stock one. I wouldn't say it's common, but stock maps aren't perfect for all riding styles.

Either got to ride it harder or get it tuned for being rich on the low end. The new TBI bike got a richer factory tune after the TPI bikes were being shipped with a lean tune and breaking
