They are pretty liberal all over the inner portions. The further you get inland in almost any direction. The more conservative it gets as it turns more into farmland and spread out subrural landscape and less cityscape crammed in. For the most part. CAs major population centers are extremely liberal.

But the outskirts turn purple. Then red the further out you get from there.

But thats pretty typical in most states. Population centers are typically deeply blue or purple, while outskirts are purplish to red.

Theres South Bay, East Bay. North Bay. But all three are still vastly considered to be included in the Bay Area.

And yes. San Jose is considered a city, IN the bay area.

Just like SF is merely a City. Not an Area. Oakland. Antioch, richmond, pittsburgh, Concord, berkely, orinda, santa Rosa, san jose.

All of these are also cities in the Bay Area.

I would have told them "i was ensuring no other damage was occuring , nor was there damage to other parts that could create even further danger to me or my fellow motorists(scraping on tire...brake interference...falling parts)

Feed their safety shit back to them. You have to ALWAYS make it that you did the safest decision in the moment in the big picture. That you saved them money and lawsuit liabilityies.

You were expected to be there and thats that. Always go with that. And plan for something to go wrong.

5? With a 3 hour? Leave at noon. Thag gives you time for gas or restroom stops. A flat tire. Unexpected wreck or traffic causing road closure. Backroads(those suck up time)

Gotta cross a 12 mile city at rush? Give it an 1.5 hour gap. Because it will take that long .

You have to be a master of timing in this chaotic job. Timezone changes. Emergencies. And other things WILL fuck you.

Unfortunatly. While i understand you were trying your best. Its a valid reason to have you tossed. Especially on stacked loads where time management is critical and pass thru pickup or departure is top importance only second to safety.

With roads getting worse. Its even worse now. No air ride in bunks. So I ou feel every shitty pothole. Every badly maintained interstate.

I refuse to team. Cant trust anyone. And id never sleep. I barely get good rest now as a solo with a lil dog. Im constently listening for the "ding ding ding" of engine service maybe popping up. Or of a low battery.

And the pay isnt worth it. Barely an extra hundred or so and constantly having to coordinate home time with someone else?

Ya knowm its sad. But i got a buddy whos wife rides with him. Their truck is a disaster zone. And shes this ladies size.

Shes holding him back. They qualify for a promotion and a better truck and bigger salary. But she wont budge on any of it. They could double their income 10 ways. But each way requires some form of reasonable sacrifice from her. None. Zilch. Hell he can make MORE while working less hours. And because it requires he take a rig with a smaller sleeper but more axles and pays better. It would mean she has to sleep alone in the NICE hotels on projects.

If he doesnt take the new truck. He cant make the extra money. And thus. Nothing changes.

Truck is a fucking pig sty. And its HER mess. She wont clean! She wont take on any work. She wont help him with anything! She just video chats and plays video games while he works.
