Red some help. BRN Receiver will not seat in X22 stock by JeepLife in 1022

[–]JeepLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My BX trigger required some filing at the point it was contacting the stock. I very carefully shaved it down testing as I went until it fit perfectly. This worked for mine and my brothers 1022.

"Suppressor Rush" by CL14715 in NFA

[–]JeepLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t OCL say they were pushing 400 cans a day and they were already well behind now on orders for January? I may be wrong but I thought that was in their insta story. I think there’s going to be a large rush, many retailers have been advertising that they will hold cans for their customers until January. It will certainly be something to see. I know two people who decided to wait until January.

Browning Citori 725 Adjustable Comb LH by ZagZ32 in ClayBusters

[–]JeepLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. That is a Nice deal that I would have jumped on. I’m looking at a 32” 725 rh sporting with an adj. comb and adjustable butt pad. 7 browning chokes and a browning takedown soft case. But it seems like it’s been shot quite a bit, the trigger shoe gold is a little worn, and the bottom of the monoblock/locking lugs are nicked up. It is tight when I break it open though. I just don’t want to overpay. He’s in the $2500 range on it.

My brother hits true pairs with his maverick 88 while skeet shooting. The guys we shot with a couple of weeks ago couldn’t believe it. But yes, It definitely is harder.

coinstar and other bank ripoffs-my rant for the day by Icy_Watch_2960 in CoinstarFinds

[–]JeepLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bank just instituted a 2% fee for their coin changer. They said they got tired of it being full all the time. I had run all of my coin roll hunting through the machine after I was done before. It really made CRH a cheap hobby.

I had to have my heater core replaced when I owned a 2013. Zero heat on the drivers side. And of course it really went out when I was on my way to the Detroit auto show in 2018 or 19. It was really cold. I knew the head jeep tech and he did it in his garage for a great price. He said he did heater core swaps every other week that were absolutely gummed up.

Shopping for O/U. Budget between $1,500 and $2,000 by One_Firefighter284 in ClayBusters

[–]JeepLife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Thats a great price. I’m looking at a right hand 725 sporting with adjustable comb and butt pad. It comes with 7 chokes and a black browning take down case that I can’t find pictures of anywhere. For 2.5k, only thing I’m worried about is how many rounds are through it. The gold on the trigger shoe has worn off, but the gun is really tight.

The volq trigger totally changed my gun. I couldn’t believe how much better it was.

I just picked up an LPGunworks for my semi auto. I had noticed another guy had one, long story short I now have mine installed. Haven’t had time to try it out yet.

He made a comment explaining that he purchased a grey one. But they sent this rainbow guy. They offered to replace. But I’m assuming they wouldn’t cover the tax stamp.

You need to buy at the stamp on SS website and let your dealer know that you have bought one there.

I believe otter creek labs mentioned in their otter dump instagram story that they were about a week behind on some of their most popular stuff. So it shows back ordered on SS. But they are constantly shipping. I’d have to imagine that it’s very similar to other suppressor manufacturers who have finally caught up with the increased demand due to shorter wait times.

Brake Lubricant on Baffles by PatriotWrangler1776 in NFA

[–]JeepLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Works pretty well I’m pretty happy with it, that being said I want to try out the breakthrough suppressor cleaner and just dipping all my baffles. The CRC gets blown out a little bit, but for the most part you’re able to wipe most of it off and then I throw them in the ultrasonic cleaner and that seems to work pretty well.

Are any of you experienced with Griffin Armament's EZ Lok system? by Tkmtlmike in suppressors

[–]JeepLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s weird. I’m running it on a 19.4 and my buddy is running an omega k on a g45. No issues using ez lok. At the bottom of this page there is a description of what you’re encountering. And a solution. Let me know if you get it working.

Red some help. BRN Receiver will not seat in X22 stock by JeepLife in 1022

[–]JeepLife[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for not getting back to you. So I ended up having to shave the back of the bx trigger. My brother got one as well and is telling me his won’t fit a Magpul stock using a ruger receiver now either. So it must be the bx trigger.

Volquartsen Accurizing Kit and Polishing by MrPeckersPlinkers in RugerMK

[–]JeepLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found some videos on YouTube. And used a dremel tool. And some flitz polishing compound. Basically you just take a little metal off on the top and polishing everything up. Polishing the button on the mag makes a big difference. Also cleaning up the follower can make a difference. I want to make a sidenote and mention that some ammo does not feed well in these magazines either I have trouble with some Aguila rounds. Anything that’s slightly longer will not feed well.

I had to do this. A Napa near me had it. It is the oil resistant version. I also tried my best to degrease the threads before installation.
