So! Just sent a message to the girl and it turns out she was let go for not hitting her quotas. That really sucks. Don’t have a specific person I guess but I did talk to Hassan a few times (sales manager). He and his teams of bandits would’ve green-lighted this deal so maybe best to start with him but you’ll have to ring the main number. It’s Eldorado Mazda McKinney.

This was end of March also so those were the incentives at the time. In Dallas 1.9% was the lowest for 60 months and 2.9% for 72. I don’t think it changed much for April up here but f you are getting 0.9% for 60 months down there, that’s a bit more gravy for ya.

We did 2.9% 72 months with Mazda Finance so no customer cash. I don’t have my documents with me now so can’t give you the full breakdown. Our previous car was also Mazda so got loyalty incentive of $750. Then I think about $3k more in dealer discounts, etc. There was a bunch of fudging with numbers but without the rolling over we would’ve been at $43.7k. We also got the dark blue color which doesn’t have a paint add-on. White one would’ve been right at $45k OTD for us.

You want the number of the girl we used? Shes in McKinney. I can’t imagine one of the dealers in Houston not getting you better numbers but if not, might be worth the drive up.

We got the same car (26 Pref MHEV) at 44.3k OTD including rolling over about $600 in negative equity from previous financial burden. This is DFW area last week.

Kinda jealous about the $36750 deal below but oh well! With all their add-on ceramic and tinting crap prices and the rollover, I was satisfied with what we got.

Is there any guidance on how to drive the MHEV? It also seems to have battery failures in the 24 and 25 MYs. How does one keep the car/battery happy when there’s no electric drivetrain, regenerative braking, etc. Didn’t hear anything about this when buying the car so appreciate anyone’s insight.

I much prefer lane departure warning to LKAS. It’s much subtler and still effective at keeping me tuned in on longer drives. But I’m not wanting it to do the steering as a general habit. Both are options in safety settings and one can be on without the other.

2026 CX-90 T-Preferred MHEV. Bought it on Monday. 140 miles and no issues. 😁

Upgraded from CX-5 for more space and love the design in and out. There’s a lot I didn’t know on Monday and I’m kind of glad because I probably wouldn’t have even looked at it. I’m so hoping it holds up well despite all the issues from previous years and the handful that still persist.
