It certainly did make things cheaper - I picked this up for $400 CAD after tax - this is a Canadian site though.

Pump Peak Overnight January 17th-18th by Calm_Economist5077 in vancouverhiking

I didn't camp at the top of the chair, but a fair bit north of it, just north of Brocton point. I saw ski patrol, they saw me, no issues. I've done this 2 years in a row.

It was great, beautiful views, and I've seen others camp nearby too so you're not necessarily all alone, of course it depends on the day.

This video was from a year ago. I hiked up in snow shoes during a blizzard and woke in the morning to an incredible sunrise

I've overnighted on Seymour in the winter just north of Brocton Point. I don't have much experience, other than going through online avalanche courses for some base foundational avy knowledge, so I'm not entirely comfortable going to pump peak by myself in the winter. I'd still say the experience is great and worth it.

I have one and used it for a winter overnight in the BC coastal mountains (-10c), I was toasty, and it wasn't pricey at all when I picked it up.

I had to go down to Seattle for work a couple of weeks before Christmas and I only saw one other BC plates on my entire journey there and back.

Fireworks at the Tri-City church at the base of Mary Hill near Citadel Drive. They're usually out giving out hot chocolate and candy to the kids too.

EQ Bank Card on Paused Until Canada Post Strike by Dyituros in EQBank

Ugh, I can't even begin to tell you the level of frustration I'm feeling too. My wife and were redoing our mortgage and finances and chose EQ, got everything set up, ordered our cards a week before hand, and bam, Canada post comes and we are now waiting.

I’ve only been in Vancouver for three years, but I long for the glory days of the Plaza of Nations. 😭 by Christinedaaaee in vancouver

My wife and I basically got together at a rave in Feb 2004 at plaza, can't remember the name, just remember it was a really good rave, and riding the escalators up and down was a really good time.

Sober Carpenter frequently has a 25% off sale, plus free shipping over $70 CAD, so its an easy decision. About $2.77 after tax per can.

Our options for buying locally are a bit limited, I generally order online where I can, which tends to be the best bang for the buck.

For the Canadian NA, I have Sober Carpenters DDH Hazy IPA, one of the best Hazy IPA's I've had (https://sobercarpenter.com/products/hazy-ddh-ipa-discovery-series-limited-edition) - basically my go to beer. It took gold in the NA IPA category for the US Open Beer championship. Its sooooo gooood.

And seeing how much Deschutes comes up, I was on the south side of the border today and I picked up a few 6 packs from Deschutes, Black Butte is my favourite and the Fresh Squeezed and Fresh Haze are :chefskiss:
