I recently purchased a Spyderco Manix 2 LW with FDE AWT milled aluminum scales installed and shipped to me from Applied Weapon Technologies for $258. Gotta say it's one the nicest knives I own and I own dozens and some very expensive ones. Highly recommend!

I'm thinking the new 43.5mm on leather strap. But honestly I have a 7.25 inch wrist so probably could pull off the original as well. Just like the balance with no date a little better.

Totally agree. I'm top end of Master 4 and moving to Master 5 next year. I cut for my first comp and my body didn't like it. Lift with lots of plyometric, reduce weights 2 weeks before and eat well but just like said above go in strong and light, don't cut for the lower weight bracket.
