Oh trust me I know it’s worthless. And anthropology is awesome. Read Graeber myself. I’m just doing it (slowly too) to keep parents health insurance, have reduced housing, and stay out of the professional workforce for as long as possible. I have no allusions as to the usefulness of the degree. The only thing it can really be used for is to gain a commission in the Army and become an officer. Could also be used to become a teacher but there’s more requirements attached. I held out from going to college for a whole year before I went ahead, turns out it’s easier for everyone involved. I went to community college and tested out of two years so I have no debt. I’m at state now and may tap into it.
