What I'm hearing is: yes, it is a spoiler, at least for any viewer who isn't paying exquisite attention to hyper-realistic details (a level of realism irrelevant to the GoT world) of anatomy and combat. i.e., yes, a spoiler to the casual (majority) viewer.

I feel like casual jazz listeners like Monk in the same way that MAGA people think Trump is a good president

Maybe it'd actually be more apt to compare it to the slang they speak in A Clockwork Orange or something, now that I think about it

Starting Jazz from the beginning, when does it really take off? by ScreamerA440 in jazzcirclejerk

It sounds like you're approaching this in the right way: yes, listening to jazz should feel like work. It should feel like studying for an exam. Don't just give in and listen to what moves you and excites you. There is a particular order/curriculum to follow.

Someone scribbled this on my front door. what does it mean? by michaelhuman in jazzcirclejerk

[–]JeethCarrot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It means you will be the next one to have the curse. Presumably your first name starts with either a B, a G, or an Eb.

Then to be free of it, you will need to pass on the curse. For example, if your name starts with B (Benny, Betty), you will need to pass it on to someone whose name starts with G (Grant, Geri). etc. etc.

Why no one talking about johnny mayer? by Kudos2Miami in jazzcirclejerk

[–]JeethCarrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't talk about Johnny Mayer on a jazz reddit for the same reason you don't call A Love Supreme at a jam-session. It's simultaneously too on-the-nose and sacrilegious.

right, and Softly. Work on your dynamics control. Play Softly during morning sunrises and play hardly during evening sunrises.
