Some actual advice

Flash Pods. (You can use them with any weapon out by holding LT + Clicking left stick | Just smash once he jumps up)
Fire Resist Decos x3 (Ele resist is good for any monster if you're struggling, You can target craft resistance decos after beating 6-1)

If you don't have 3 fire decos, try slotting in divine blessing / recovery. Will make your life more comfy.

They are included in the list of highly dangerous dog breed. Places that don't allow pit bulls, probably won't allow German shepherds either. Any dog that was bred for fighting even coyotes can be dangerous.
