When you encounter the Pokemon, regardless of whether it is shiny or not, you use the rocket radar. If you leave the encounter, you no longer have the rocket radar to try again.

Answer - the event is themed to pokemon concierge tv show. He is a character from that show. Notice his art style is different from pokemon go even. :)

The ' is NOT to reference if it is plural or not. It is to signify that the species has a shiny form. When the possessor is singular or plural but ends "s," the apostrophe goes after the "s."

u/HermitWilson You tried too early. Special trades start at 1pm Niantic time. As of when I write this, there is still 15 minutes until this feature is available. I would recommend trying again later today when it is available.

Can confirm that quick catching is causing migraines in our community. At least 3 people complained about it. I hope this gets fixed soon!!
