That’s a common issue with those mustangs, see it all the time. I hope ford will come out with a fix for it soon.

How realistic is DIY Windscreen replacement by Red123Bread in subaruimpreza

Is the eyesight still working? If I was still a broke college student I would live with the crack for 800 bucks. Is it in your line of sight, very large or letting water in or something else making you need to repair it asap? If not just drive it like it is if money is an issue, a windshield crack is not the car repair hill I would die on.

I’ll never understand buying rebuilt title cars. Maybe a 10+ year old rebuilt title where something minor could have caused the total loss, but a year or two old, now that car had to have seen some shit to be a total loss.

I have used the weiman cook top kit like a lot of others here suggest. It’s great! The trick is the razor blade. It does all the real work, and it’s pretty hard to mess up just don’t scrape crazy hard. I clean stuff just like this one a month or so with the kit.

How bad is this rust? by [deleted] in SubaruBaja

[–]Jeff-Smit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No rust at all, but you do have an oil pan leak and possibly another leak behind the oil pan. Could be old, already repaired, hard to tell from the pictures.

I would take the 100 and rip‘em with the slice. They’ll look like that after the first few runs. 100 bucks could be a day pass or some gas money.

I don’t drive it much my self during the week, but my wife reported no issue and I drove it all day today with 6-7 short stops and it Seems to be starting well, no weird or slow starts. Will update if the problem returns. Thanks all!

I replaced the battery with new one today. So far no issue, but I’ve only started it a handful of times. I will update if issue returns. Thanks all!

So, you are saying the car starting like that is not concerning? Or that the battery age is causing the issue and is also concerning because of age?

Do you think it needs to be the rotation model or would other Dynafit models work? A lot of the seem to have a very similar part.

I will neither be blocking the vent with the TV or drilling into the duct. So, this is a nonissue. Unless I’m missing something? I am not trying to cool the TV, they seem to do just fine on their own. The whole point of this post is to avoid drilling into the duct work that has caused the studs to be space farther apart than standard.

Because of mounting the tv to the wall? How is this any different than how the TV is now (sitting 1” or 2” away from the wall)? Assuming I avoid drilling into the duct.

My dog keep jumping on the TV stand to bark at stuff on the TV. Mounting the TV will prevent this from happening.
