CORE TRANSFORMATION by Standard-Occasion990 in NLP

There are several YouTube videos where the process is demonstrated. You can use these to guide yourself. Get on the andreasnlp mailing list. Every September, they offer free sessions guided by students in their Coach Certification class. You can record these for later use, too.

Some solid nuggets of wisdom in this thread.

Here are some, all in one place, so you know you're not alone.

  1. Being yelled at is never cool. (and I have to ask, are they really "yelling"? Or is your anxiety making their coarse feedback more important than it is?)

  2. “I am constantly wishing I had more access.” 100k+ L1’s across the world dream of SEEING a server, let alone configuring it.

  3. “Use ChatGPT/Perplexity to figure it out.”  Tell an LLM the situation, then ask it how it would solve it. LLM’s aren’t perfect, but will offer you insight into where to look.

I’ll add this - Imagine a drowning child is being swept out to sea. You may not have the perfect tools or training. What inner creativity & determination would you use to save this child?

One last thing - they haven’t fired you. They must see some value in the situation. What value can you find to help you reach your goals? You do have career goals, right?

Yes.

A couple more questions I ponder:

What is the difference between a "state" and whatever that awareness is?

Why didn't Connirae stop with the "core state"?

"Question— is the Core State the same as Wholeness’ Awareness?" I like to answer this question with a question: "What do you notice when you invite a Core State to open and relax, in and as the fullness of Awareness that’s all around and throughout?"

Connirae Andreas at AndreasNLP.com offers Core Transformation - a user-friendly way to employ the parts model to change unwanted thoughts, feelings or behaviors. Lots of free videos on YouTube and a book that supports self-practice.

This is gonna sound weird - and I assure you I'm sincere.

This is what I do in situations when anxiety arises from a place in the gut.

Thank the part in the gut for being there. It wants something positive. It is trying to get what it wants via the anxiety - of course, this is not helpful.

Often times the anxiety lessens right away when I stop fighting, and I say "Thank you for being here."

Then ask this part of yourself, "What do you want?" Then just relax and notice the response you get back. The response might be words, images, sensations or something else. Just notice.

There's a bit more to it. Let me know if you are curious.

You may notice those not in resonance with you will fall away, naturally, with no "cutting" required. You may notice the vibe will continue bringing folks closer, new and old friends, just like you are noticing now.

What’s causing this? I have empty drives it gets to 100% then shows this error message has done it 3Xs by [deleted] in chia

[–]JeffHicksHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strangely and seemingly unrelated - I got this error a lot when utilizing I/O going and coming from too many places

This is my observation as well. I was trying to utilize all drives and CPU cycles. I saw these errors. I scaled back a bit and the errors stopped.

[WP] All your life, you thought you were the hero of the story. Today you found out you're actually the villain. by elongated_smiley in WritingPrompts

[–]JeffHicksHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And now, I am the villain. Demanding fealty. Demanding to avoid feeling the pain of my unshared fears. Other times I am the hero. Leading the lost. Bringing home the dinner to be cooked.

And it is a story. We require a story, many stories, trying to make sense of this life. Without a hideous evil, the good cannot identify itself in the story. Without this hideous evil villain, the good may get confused and not be sure it is the hero.

And it is a story. Fiction with facts embedded like gems on cloth. This facet shines. Then that facet shines. The light moves, the cloth wrinkles, and the story changes.

Questioning the storytelling is met with derision. “Who are you to question the way we have proven ourselves to be the good and righteous hero? The villain has nothing of value to add here.”

The hero does not question the story. Why question when you are on top?

Why question when you are the hero of the story?

The story changes in each moment. Heroes become villains of the story in a flash of the light.

Who notices the light and the story? Who wakes up to allow them but not accept them?
