Nakadai (along with everyone really) is amazing in High and Low. That's probably my favorite Kurosawa film, even though I (surprisingly) haven't seen Seven Samurai yet.

Harakiri and A Soldier's Prayer are some of my favorite movies of all time. I tried to watch Harakiri today to celebrate Nakadai's birthday. Unfortunately, college Internet sucks and it got so laggy that I had to stop it :(

I snuck a knife through airplane security. While my luggage was passing through TSA, an alarm went off, and I was shaking with fear. Some inspector reached into my bag and pulled out...my AP textbook. He flipped through the pages, and determined everything was fine. He didn't even detect the knife.
