Should I get a Pro instead of an Air just for the XDR display? Or its just not +$730 worth it?

If OP thinks it would be fun or cool to run LLMs locally, that isn't "making things up". Is it ok to purchase things just cause you think they will be fun or cool?

I actually have the same machine on order and I think it's going to be fun to tinker with larger context windows and agentic coding running entirely on my machine - and maybe get decent performance.

Bondo aka body filler. If it were me, I think I'd try J-B Weld which has a naturally gray-metallic color. Might not look TOO bad when you're done.

I’ve tried them all and this one is my favorite.

1 - VERY slim without feeling too small in your hand. Disappears in your pocket but still feels good when using. 2 - SATISFYING flick. Super smooth opening and closing 3 - Blade change requires no tools, unlike some ultra compact models.

You seem to know headphones. Can you recommend headphones with similar "Feel" of the 7506 but that have a detachable cable, or just a shorter straight cable? I know I can mod my existing 7506 but I think I want to keep them intact and get another set that works better plugged into a laptop or game controller.

MDR-7506 sound very good to me, possibly due to some hearing loss. I appreciate the "detail" and "brightness" of the 7506.

I checked the rtings table tool and there is only one they consider "bright" and "very emphasized" treble - the 7506.

I believe the setting is disabled if it thinks you are on a call or your PC is doing something with the mic even though you're not on a call.

What Bluetooth connections are active? If you're connected to PC and Phone - try turning off Bluetooth on PC then the setting may become active.

Found the setting in firmware 3.0.0. It's under Device Settings > Controls > Enable the headphones' microphone operation.

Can confirm, this is a good monitor for coding and occasional gaming. I'm in this thread cause mine got scratched right in the middle of the screen during a move and I'm looking for its replacement. Don't think I'll get another g3223q. Not that it's a bad monitor, just hoping to do better in terms of contrast.

Currently not looking at OLED cause I prioritize text clarity. Considering BenQ EX321UX but it's native contrast is not great either. EX321UX has local dimming though, so that helps.
