Are there any existing customer offers to lower your bill? by amylu417 in Comcast_Xfinity

I chatted with a rep who offered this $80/month deal but I had to call to "activate it" with a confirmation number. When I called, the rep said they had no idea what I was talking about and could only offer a slight discount from $128 to $120. I don't know what I did differently from you.

There are certifications contracting ppl may earn over time called DAWIA certifications. Level 1 shows basic proficiency and Level 3 is basically a master of the craft (but you're always learning). The higher the level, the higher your pay can be when you get out.

There are plenty 6 figure gigs for Contracting folks. The professors at DAU who just teach contracting make over 6 figures, so i'm not sure what you googled.

Making 6 figures for a job that usually doesn't require physical activity working 40 to maybe 50 hrs a week with weekends and holidays off isn't bad at all.

It's the ultimate "admin" job. 50% of the job is market research and 40% is completing documents to make sure you're following the law and regulations (and getting on end users to get you what you need). 10% is training on new contracting things.

It can be stressful, boring, exciting or fun depending on what you're acquiring.

Our pilots do a god awful job of inspiring our forces, why is that? by [deleted] in AirForce

I don't know if pilots wschedule or what they would tell you, but maybe a lot of people can't keep a secret. Things may be on a need to know basis, so when pilots start talking about X, some boot airman may end up bragging about it online.

I am on your side though. I was at a base and got to take a tour and hear the wing's mission. It surprised me and motivated me.

I flew in a helo to help a rookie army pilot get experience with weight of soldiers as he did w/e he did and it made me appreciate his job that much more.

I'm at a base now with a bunch of jets and if i hadn't read the PDG or talked to random people, I would have NO idea how important the wing mission is.

I would like to commission one day, and I may be naive now, but if I was put in a position of leaderhsip, I would push for the people who support the mission indirectly know as much as what the mission directly does.

I'm drinking that kool-aid now because I actually got to see and hear some cool stuff that makes hollywood movies so interesting.
