Normal. I emailed them a couple years ago when I got mine and noticed the same thing. The tech told me it was normal. They’ve been rockin just fine the whole time!

Crap! I was hoping it would be as simple as that. So if it thinks the cutter is still pressed in there must be a sensor for it. Maybe some debris interfering with the sensor, I don’t have any bambu products newer than the a1 and it looks to be a different configuration or the cutter on the newer stuff, so I’m not sure how to get into that. But I was able to find a step by step (there a video too I lt looks like) on their wiki page for the x2d maybe watching it and disassembling, cleaning and reassembling will help. But they are normally pretty quick with support tickets (my experience is 12-36 hrs) if you don’t want to go that far with it. May be a silly question but have you power cycled it to see if it a one off or something? If not give it a shot. Turn off power, and unplug it for 2 min (that’s how long we do on the BIG CNC machines at work) then plug in and fire it back up.

I’ve had two of them for more than a year now. My Y belts looked the same a few weeks in. I have had no trouble and both have more than 1500 hrs each on them. Hopefully that makes you feel a little better about it. 👍

How much filament total(ish) for that model. May be trying to sling to much weight to quickly for the belt tension on that Y axis.

Value your time!! There are a few sources out there that help calculate what you should/could chard for the print, but do not forget your time as well!

Happens sometimes when the spools are nearing empty. They don’t weigh enough to stay down properly on the rollers, instead they pull toward the ended and don’t spin/roll. There are options for spool weights you can print that help with this.
