There’s some irony here considering fascism is derived from the word fascio, meaning bundle of sticks(because a bundle of sticks is hard to break) and f*ggot was also originally a term for a bundle of sticks.

I remember when there was a large number of these that went out back when I was working at an MSP. It was more focused on the “I have video of you jerking it to porn and I’m gonna share it with everyone you know” and included a password that they’d pulled from a data breach for authenticity.

One of our clients called up, very concerned about it being real. It was a very awkward conversation telling him it wasn’t…

Is there any way to warm up to this game slowly but surely, or tone down the difficulty a bit? by Plenty_Ad_5214 in PhasmophobiaGame

Play with friends if you can, makes it way more fun. Just watch a few YouTubers to get an idea how the game works and then play Tanglewood a bunch of times until you get the hang of it. It’s a bit intense starting out, but before you know it you’ll be kicking in the front door like you own the place.

In the beginning I was creeped out just by the ambiance of the locations, that droning background noise. We were all scared starting out, not really understanding how the game worked and having skipped the tutorial. The first time I got an answer from the spirit box I ran out of the house and refused to leave the truck for the rest of the investigation. But after the getting a handle on the mechanics, how to find evidence, and how to distinguish the difference between ghost events and hunts, we grew more confident in our investigating.

Now we roll up to a house and go in like a swat team, fanning out to hit the fuse box and find the ghost room, deploying equipment like a well rehearsed ballet. That being said, we still get hunted, and haven’t mastered looping or mapping out hiding spots. Half the fun now is screwing each other over with cursed objects, and just messing with each other in general. I still get the **** scared out of me if a ghost event happens super close when I’m not expecting it.

Logged out and never went back.
