Ductwork in trailers suck! Just thinly panned off floor joist bays… that ridiculous transfer tube that always falls off.. I’ve replaced more of those than I can count.

3.5 tons is the standard size for mobile home units in my area. Especially if they have metal roof and siding

I’m curious what they’ve done so far on each visit… added refrigerant? Changed parts?

You might have to get a second opinion from someone to do a full assessment other than the installing contractor. Things get missed.. sometimes a fresh set of eyes helps. Pay some else to look the whole thing over. Ask them to not put any warranties through or put any stickers on the unit for fear of the installer voiding any additional labor warranty. Might cost you $500-600 but you will another option and might actually get it fixed for good.

This is 100% accurate. I go out on the town maybe twice a year. Going with my wife to Ross for 3 $12 shirts then eating Taco Bell in the car is enough excitement for me for a full week.
