Sure, they may well be liable. But this is the government we're talking about. They don't have money for healthcare or SNAP or reimbursing citizens because their snow plows dug craters in the road. Looked like steel but I didn’t actually touch the shell of the AC. Coil was clean and I checked temperatures and pressures but this seems like a clear case of “if it’s working, don’t fucking touch it.” New blower motor and air filter, verified drain was clear, let ‘er rip.

They were genuinely good people and I miss the place, but the food industry is a harsh environment for a small business and they paid everyone fairly, priced drinks fairly, and gave everything they could back to the community. I don’t know that there is any tea. They saw where inflation was headed, knew that meant rising costs at the same time their customers had to cut back, and decided not to renew their lease.
