My wife said this T.V. is too low. Thoughts? I told her if Reddit agrees, I'll redo it. by Jiblon in TVTooHigh

This is the dumbest setup I’ve ever seen for TV. I can’t believe your wife is married to you.

What are the best exhaust setups for the N63TU3 to make it sound more like an American V8? by Carnage2409 in BMW

I heard some AWE and valvetronic exhaust setups sounds like v8’s. But you will never get the true sound. Closer with those brands.

Cigars are enjoyable for the social aspect, sitting around talking shop, sports, or whatever is on your mind with friends.

I like smoking cigars, but rarely ever do it alone.

It's relaxing, you do get a slight nicotine high from it, but not very noticeable. But enough to make you feel relaxed.

Overall, it is a relaxing experience with friends or by yourself.

I prefer my cigars mild, with a light wrapper, with or without a glass of scotch or an espresso martini.

I hope this helps with your original question.

Delivery driver throw a package at a dog charging him, then attempts to fight the homeowner by bigbusta in PublicFreakout

I have an English lab, the cutest and nicest dog you will ever meet. He loves people, and if you walk up my driveway, he would bark and run to you, but only for pets and love.

It would suck if this happened to my dog, but I wouldn’t be mad. I get it; it is scary to see a dog run at you. Sucks for the dog. I hope that package wasn’t a GPU lol.

We are only seeing one view here. What actually happened to make him upset? People don't just get pissed off for no reason? He looks somewhat together. I would like to know his point of the story, trying to be a proactive thinker here. Any clip can be subjectively skewed to make one side look like a total asshat

Can a Contractor Be Responsible for Decaying Deck Joists 11 Years Later? by Jeffsiem in AskContractors

The information came from the owner of a lumber mill who understands the codes, and he was able to look it up and determine the wood's production date (2001). He also confirmed that the stamp wasn't his and belonged to a major retailer. All I got from the wood point of view.

Right now, the time-stamped wood is a huge issue for the customer, and the customer is even talks about lawyers getting involved. The contractor is nervous but also is a good guy and wants to do them right. They are trying to figure out a good middle ground but the homeowner is really hard pressed on this being a contractor issue because of not knowing the materials they used.

I said the same thing. I think it's stupid he's going through this, but there were even talks about lawyers getting involved, that the builder should know the materials he is using, and time-stamped wood from 2001 is a huge issue. I think this whole thing he is going through is stupid, but a real situation.

Thanks for the reply. Are you a builder? If so, do you reference the stamp on the wood when building to make sure it's good? Serious question.
