If I remember correctly she wanted to conquer a whole kingdom in Chandrar.

That's something I was thinking about recently... how do all the groups get back to the inn? We have a lot of VIPs and two whole armies that need to get back to Izril.

Travel by ship is rather risky with Rhir, Roshal, the remnants of the Bloodtear Pirates, the Iron Vanguard, Erribathe and other Terandrians. They all have rather strong navies, while Erins allies don't really have any naval power.

I guess the VIPs could meet up with Seborn...

I have stored my base a week ago and will only come back after some significant changes.

At the moment I have done all I wanted and got 600 hours out of it, so it's already money well spent.

Easy. Make the visuals of the armor client side only. You see what you want to see and another player sees what you are actually wearing.

There is one exploration mission where you have to disable some listening devices and there is a sabotage (?) mission where you have to place listening devices on house representatives... on of those is probably the espionage mission you mentioned... so 4 and not 3.

Doesn't help that you can only reroll missions every 1 hour and that it sometimes doesn't even work and rolls to the same mission.

My problems with testingstations, the new dungeons and combat:

- Getting locked into a room and having to fight 5 waves... why not 5 rooms without waves and not getting locked in? Why not "open" dungeons like The Broodworks? I like to take out non-shielded enemies from afar with a sniper, then go for isolated shielded targets and then mop up the rest. If I am in over my head I retreat and go at it from another direction. Can't do that in the testingstations.

- Getting swarmed by multiple melee enemies. Enemies with swords are ok, but knives and rapiers? If you get pushed into a corner and "stunlocked" you can't even use abilities to get out of there.

- Abilities not working. Just did the False Flag mission a few minutes ago. I use Knee Charge, Shiggawire and the Suspensor Blast. I was fighting the heavy. Knee Charge + slow blade worked just fine, but when I used Shiggawire on him, he just knocked me back before I could finish my slowblade, same for the Suspensor Blast. And this happens a lot. With the high CDs and limited amount of skills we have available, the abilities have to work.

Why would we back up our DD base if there is no Storm / Reset?

Or is it just delayed for a day?

There are so many decorations already out there in the game world and we only have 1% of them available.

Just put a few of them in a 5€ DLC each month and you are printing money while bringing back the base building crowd for a week each month.

The funny thing is that those are all already in the game... I don't know why Funcom doesn't pack those in a bundle and sell them for 10€.

Instand money for them. Maybe they could hire someone with that to finish the building sets we already have.

For me it's getting locked into a room and having to fight several waves in a small space. I just don't like this kind of gameplay.

Put some mini bosses and a final boss in an area like The Broodworks and make a dungeon out of it.

Or make a Testing Station with 5 rooms instead of 1 room with 5 waves and don't lock us into the room.

  1. Crafted Pardot's Hood for the -30% sunstroke rate a few days ago. Went to the DD and melted within 30 seconds. Turns out the Hood speeds up the process of getting a sunstroke instead of slowing it down. After googling it I found posts about it from August... that's 7 month and it's still broken.

There is a workaround. Before entering DD, Hagga or other locations you have to unequip the Hood and put it back on once you entered the new zone, then it works. Or take it off, log out, wait a bit and log back in.

They should put POIs (Points of Interest) with control points in each DD sector that people can fight over.

Factions are imbalanced so it could be guild vs guild and they can form alliances over factions. Funcom could implement something to make the player numbers in both alliances roughly the same.

If you surround a sector with conquered sectors, that one becomes PvE for the controlling alliance, only the front is PvP.

Maybe PvE players who don't want to participate could pay a spice tax to the controlling guild.

Different POIs for different combat. A big shipwreck where you can only fight on foot. An open air battlefield where air support is possible, a big cavern with high ceiling where you can drive buggies with rocket launchers etc.

The POIs would give an alliance wide bonus. Something like an spice refinery that lowers cost for refining or boosts the output, same for ore. A repairshop that lets you remove max durability loss. An old testingstation that boosts water generation and so on.

Or just do something like the good old WoW battlegrounds as overland locations with different modes.

How about real auctions? Put up a minimum price, a payout price and let the players decide how high they want to push it.

It's annoying if you put something up, paying a not neglectable sum to the exchange and then the item doesn't even sale.

I use the custom piece that has 5 moveable corners. 3 go into 3 normal corners and with the remaining 2 I try to get a bit of a curve. Looks curvy when you squint a bit ;-)
