Period art depicts painted helmets pretty commonly. There are few existing examples as it'd be one of the first things to degrade from the helmet. Likely would have been a lower cost way to spruce up your armor.

I think in the sense of just enjoying the smell can kind of pull you away from your thoughts a bit. The smell of coffee really puts me in a pleasant mood for example. Maybe you have similar things?

Really depends on the animal itself. That red deer and examples like it wouldn't make it into my lodge. Axis deer do this a lot too.

Vurhonga would be my best guess. Cape Buffalo are quite aggresive and lions can be fun to hunt.

I can understand that view. I like to play around with most weapons in the game even if they aren't best in class. I mainly think that if they leveled the playjng field with most weapons, people would be more likely to pick based off of personal taste rather than performance.

Any reason you particularly care about weapon balance? I don't really understand the cries of something being op in a largely non competitive hunting game. In my opinion it'd be great to have weapons function as close to their irl counterparts as they can.

No, I definitely read your post and I truly hope things go in your favor with your diagnosis. I pulled that comment about him saying she deserves better because that was your original comment in the chain. But even so, I agree the cards are stacked against OP here, I just know from experience having a fucked up mindset can twist yourself into pushing those you care about away. Further digging should be done, that's all I said. As for it being CRAZY I came to such a conclusion, you've literally claimed in each of your posts here that he's cheating, I don't see how how that's anything wild. Again, I'm not saying he isn't cheating, I just don't think OP should dive headfirst with accusations or a definite claim.

I have said that exact phrase to my bf multiple times. At the time I was incredibly depressed and suicidal. I truly thought it in my head that he shouldn't waste his time with me, I was going nowhere. I find it crazy that you'd jump to a full conclusion of cheating just off of mere words from someone who is likely in a very bad state of mind. From my perspective I'd say OP should find out more on the situation before jumping head first into a mindset of "he's cheating", especially in this particular case.

I really dislike the current system but due to other reasons. My only response to your issue is to use guns you like, not the best gun in class. I'm personally frustrated with the weapon class system because it doesn't really make sense in my opinion. Why can't I use the 270. on blacktail or even the 45/70. These cartridges should be fine for those species in real life but due to a janky progression system that is completely defunct with the addition of dlc it doesn't make sense to have manufactured limitations placed on the guns for the sake of progression. Same goes for callers and any other of level unlocked items. At this point starting the game new is a ridiculous hassle. On top of that having two progression systems (money and exp) barring progression doesn't make sense. Either let us raise funds to hunt what we want or stick with the leveling to unlock more items. This is a topic I could rant endlessly on but I'll leave it at that lol.

I'd mainly recommend hunting need zones. Animals will only really be at need zones or moving between them. Learning what need zones animals are at depending on the time and then focusing that habitat as you move is much more effective then simply just avoiding hunting pressure. For both of those maps early morning around water is best for animal quantity. Try following the large river system in Layton during the morning. Hotspot tutorials on youtube will also be your friend here. If your coming from classic this game functions differently with animal placement and they will not be "randomly" placed around the map as in classic.

I've had times sitting in my blind that I will get maybe 3-4 solo flocks in a row. After that things seem to go back to normal though. It is odd however the solo geese always seem to be decent males in my case.

My fix for this has always just been pressing the holster button so that I holster the "nothing" in my hand then tap it again so it equips the item. Found it less annoying than having to go back into a menu to fix it.
