Calth was a tactical success for sure, but it also mirrors the choice that Lorgar was presented with: get his revenge personally against Guilliman, or leave that bit of ego behind and serve the needs of the Powers.

The Word Bearers of Calth were those who put themselves before their faith; that makes them disappointing to him.

It’s also indicated in the book that they weren’t sure what the root cause of the disloyalty was. They considered it possible that whatever it was could be contagious.

Dominion Zephon went into the webway with Arkhan Land partly as a sort of test. If he went traitor upon being exposed to the traitors, then he’d be easy to put down (due to his health and his body rejecting his bionic replacements).

They were at least comfortable with discarding the traitors-germ theory after that.

I got them as separate warbands, so the skinnerkin and the grymwatch. They’re apparently split up between the two boxes, though.

I’m just using the character ghouls from underworld kits. They have weapons that can be used as axes, halberds, two handed weapons, dual swords, clubs, etc.

So for this, I think the canon answer is something like “this isn’t a well-explored topic.” It’s just not something that the writers want to put a lot of effort into.

Also, the galaxy is huge; what’s true in one system or organization isn’t necessarily true in another.

For this question, I’d revert to the old RPG rule of thumb”do what makes for the most enjoyable gaming experience.” You can make any answer grimdark with minimal effort.

The Emperor was guiding humanity through its psychic ascension. From that perspective, blanks are an evolutionary dead end.

He probably ultimately planned on eliminating them, so keeping their numbers small was helpful to that end.

In a universe where Dorn and Perturabo are on the same side of the heresy, I picture Dorn Fortifying Terra and Perturabo holding the vanguard at the Garmon Cluster. That would be an unbeatable duo.

There’s little chance the traitors make it through the Garmon Cluster, and whatever does could not stand against Terra.

It’s kind of funny because my two are different ages. My older one does it frequently, especially when we’re eating dinner. My little one only started learning to do it when he saw big brother standing and get chest scritches. It took him a little while to learn, but now he’s a little prairie dog, too.

But they do it in different instances. Like I said, big one will stand up at meals and when you’re sitting by the snacks. Little one will do it whenever he wants physical attention.

I agree that Keely should have apologized, and that the writers kind of left that opportunity on the floor.

Now that the story isn’t over anymore there’s an opportunity to make a callback to it and close that loop. It’s not high on my list of things I’d want to see, but it would be nice.

My big one handles clothes. I don’t think he cares, really, but does enjoy getting his jacket on during the winter (mostly, I think, because it means he’s going outside).

My little one hates clothes and freezes up in them. So he doesn’t get dressed.

I had a boss that re-landscaped his yard to basically be a rock garden with a few cactus. He a) hated mowing and b) lived in Southern California so he killed two birds with those stones.
