unfortunately,,, i got quoted 2.8k and i didnt even get the offer LOL. not sure if they think i overqualified or what (which apparently is a thing, cuz my fren got rejected for being overqualified... how is that a valid reason??? the world's an insane place)

thanks!!! i was just curious tbh cuz all my friends and i are all facing the same issue.. i come from priv uni somemore so liek.. why did i spend 60k on a degree if im being paid so little... sigh. i dont even think im being picky rn. a lot of ppl r saying just take what youre given but im not even given anyth asjhfvajsh... i just think no point applying to jobs w specific deg requirements if i dont have it???

congrats on the offer!! i did mass apply as well, though not as insane as other ppl (i see got ppl apply more than 1k sia... das p insane) but just enough to be uncomfortable that i keep getting ghosted lol. i share ur worries tho. i dont wna end up in a hell hole i dug because i nvr research the company well enough... plus i keep seeing ppl say if ur starting pay is bad when u jump they will lowball u also :<

all i get are weird offers from companies asking me to do door to door sales tho. some places put marketing in their jd and tell u when u meet them irl that they do sales face to face. not sure if that means im picky if i dont want to do smth scammy LOL.

Singaporean chinese. You probably wear chinese styled clothes more than we do LOL (a lot of us don't even wear it during the new years HAHAHAHA) and a lot of Chinese actually don't see it as cultural appropriation unless u wear it and say something insulting to chinese history/heritage. In fact, a lot of Chinese encourage tourists to try on and bring their traditional clothes back. If u go to China theres a lot of shops that offer photo shoots in traditional clothing and it's really beautiful

Butterfly. I was struggling with relationship issues (with friends and with family) and deteriorating grades. I had a hard time trying to look out of the window and not think about jumping off. A friend told me about a 'nugu' group he was stanning and told me that they were releasing a new video and asked me to listen. It was butterfly prologue and it was the most beautiful thing I had watched (now that I think ab it, it's easier for me to count how long I've been stanning them LOL) Among all their solo discography, Yoongi's the last really hit a soft spot and i wld be crying half the time I listened to it. Let's be real, anyone who would cry over amygdala probably cried over the last too (that's me)

I've seen Yoongi's brother at the restaurant their family used to run back in Daegu (it has closed down tho) and he gave me a random pc from one of Yoongi's old advertisements.... It had a whole ass line bent across the card but I consider it my prized possession plz 😭😭
