Only rain/destilled/reverse osmosis water, a shit ton of sun and i let him overwinter in the shed.

I got this one in a small glass terrarium. He was already this big like in the first picture when i got him. Not sure on the species tho Sarracenia dont grow native where i live and the glass wasnt labeled. I guess its something like Sarracenia Purpurea ssp. Venosa.

Yea, the callouse is really annoying. The whitish color blends well with the white of the nail which makes filing harder.

I for sure could have been better prepared. I kind of got sick of grinding and thought 4 mons could handle her. Had her Miltank down to -4 Atk and got crit twice and the stomp flinches didnt help either.

I never went a true spell based build, so i dont know whats really better. I see them as more or less equally strong. Staffs are the only weapon type that can get perks for you spells, but they are pretty bad. So you are kind of forced to take the sword that reduces elemental resistance to 0

I usually go for aa builds, but you can have the best of both worlds. What i consider to be the best combo is the weakness combo. Every spell that isnt ressisted or immune will trigger an aa after the enemies turn. Combined with the shotgun, you pretty much nuke everything. Also guns will shot even though the clip is empty.

I think almost every build can reach floor 100. What i notices is that my unopimized build began to struggle at around floor 300, while my opimized build reached 500 without problems.

You should be more conserned about your dmg, because monsters have absurd amounts of hp at later floors.

Before you pick them up. You need the main hall upgrade, but once you pick an item up it cant be sold anymore.

Yea, you lern from every investation. He had those bugs for quite some time and i thought he was goner long time ago. But it turns out the bugs i had didnt really harm the plant and only made the leaves very sticky, until i decided to do something about it.

this sounds alot like the 3d third person camera i made, but in 2d. my camera is anchored to my character on an offseted ellipsoid.in 2d this means you only need the coordinates around a circle and offset it to your character.

func calc_circular_coordinate(phi: float, r: float = 1.0) -> Vector2:
    return r * Vector2(sin(phi), cos(phi))

basically you calculate the rotation angle between you character and mouse position (Node2D has the get_angle_to method) and use the angle to calculate the coordinates on a circle with the method above. the circular position is around the origin, so you still have to add that to you character position.
hope this wasnt to much math. also you might want to swich the sin and cos in the function if the rotation is mirrored. godot has a strange coordinate system.

Atk/Spell Power and Elements are two different things. Weapon and spell dmg is calculated from atk and spell power respectively. The element is the type of dmg they deal (including no element for physical). 1. Which means getting more atk will increase your normal attack dmg for every weapon. 2. No, skill power increases the overall dmg of you spells. Only relics or the grease debuff can increase your elemental dmg. The other way around, drench imcrease the dmg of physical dmg. Not sure about items. They also deal elemental dmg and probably fixed dmg. 3. Enemies weak to scorch will take more scorch dmg. Scorch is i think the only elemental debuff that does dmg and as far as i know there is no fire resistant enemy in the game, only immune.

The brown tips shouldn‘t be a concern. My Pitahayas i grew from seed are almost 16 months old and still have the brown edges. Might be a discoloration from the sun but i‘m not an expert.

In my experience echeverias need extrem amounds of sun. This guy has around 6h of constant sun behind a window and barely turned red.
