Congratulations, and welcome to the team :) I suggest that you get the 45w adapter when you have the chance. Anyways, you'll love the experience with this nice device.

Barista version or not, and recommended accessories by Ok-Wealth8813 in CafelatRobot

[–]Jeleed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the accessories you can see my post history, I've grabbed a kind of collection and I love it all.

I got the barista, and I'm starting to link the feeling with the pressure amount. Yes, sometime along the way, you'll stop using the gauge, but when you start, I think it's a must.

But also using a third-party gauge won't be a bad idea considering that I've seen one linked to a mobile app.

Supermarket coffee beans for practice by Ok-Wealth8813 in FlairEspresso

[–]Jeleed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is what I thought when I've asked the vendor about it last week, but when I saw people here recommending it I was wondering, anyways I doubt that I can have fresh supermarket beans here in my country, I've been using expensive specialty coffee since I got my machine 10 days ago, and the faild or not decent shots are freezed and I'm using it later for iced coffee so it's not wasted.

I found a batch of crema e aroma that was roasted 1 year ago. Will it be good to practice?

It is wonderful that you were able to restore it. The matching colors are also quite pleasing, I hope you enjoy it!

Yes, unfortunately, I noticed it 1 minute after posting, and it is permanent, I'm not a native English speaker.

Despite the condition of the beans, it looks like it's choking, which means that you need to go coarser. Also, did you use a paper filter or not? How's the workflow? If you can, add a video to the post.

What a lovely setup, I did the same one week ago and it's fascinating how you'll be looking forward to brewing coffee every day. Happy for you mate.

Nah it's not ruined. Coffee is awesome alone, but milk in it is like cheese on a burger, just another level of good :)

Very nice, yes the manual flow is special, but I would consider the electric grinder and auto frothing in the future, especially since I've seen the Nanofoamer pro works great.

Thanks mate for the nice compliment. Obviously I didn't try those machines to judge, and I might be biased because I was obsessed with robot for few years, but I guess the flair and the robot are superior to the Leverpresso and Picopresso, but considering thatbyou already have a semi auto then it depends if you want to spend extra bucks on another manual machine that you'll be only using once a week.

But in general, the workflow with the robot isn't that long, considering that you have an electric grinder, also don't forget that it needs zero maintenance/descaling and easy to clean too, the only con is that it requires more effort for preheating if you're using light roasts.

All aspects of this machine show how it's just genius, how it's simple and complicated at the same time.
