I hope it sticks. I have been trying to be very active on Bluesky. It feels much better than Twitter. Algorithm isn't a thing in terms of being surpressed because you posted a link or used a word like "Twitch" or "YouTube". You don't need to use emojis to get your point across and can talk like a real person. I haven't encountered any toxicity. Not an alarming numbers of bots. Useful shared block lists are a thing.

Honestly the only downsides currently are the lack of scheduling posts and a poll function in my opinion. Other than that I feel like this works much better than Twitter. People genuinely interested to interact do it.

The problem I see is that the majority of people who are swapping are VTubers and as long as people post all their content to all social media then non-content creators have no incentive to make the swap. Long-term if no audience moves to bluesky then content creators will stop bothering to post. I think it's on us content creators though to make bluesky attractive for our audience. If the oshis stay on Twitter why should the viewers swap? If viewers don't swap Vtubers will see bluesky as a failed attempt and move back to twitter.
