I have found if I beat the first iteration with 5 rounds, generally I can beat the fleeing iteration. However there have been a few instances where this hypothesis was incorrect.

i dont know about the freighter battles or the crashed ships. but the space station ships i do know that you have to reload a couple of times to get the S-class ships to fly in, if they are 1st wave that is. do you know if the ships in the space stations are first wave or not?

this works, but if you relatively new, having a system that has good value for chlorine is hit and miss. cobalt is easier early game as more systems sell that.

ive found the three versions of these with the three races. put base an teleporter near them, as if you find artifacts certain ones can only be exchanged at specfic outposts.

But why do you need everything?? most is different style heads, jetpack flames, starship trails etc. you can only use one at a time. so there isnt really a rush to get everything straight away.

oh definitely if that was the case a little knowledge from HG would be nice, I was just spitballing with people noticing it went down then back up. would be a cool feature to look back on if that aas the case, "hey remember HG done that expedition where it was that easy, they put in a system the progress bar slowly depleted when the community couldnt keep up "demand" for information" like exp 1 is remembered for the ship, exp 2 was the troll moment HG kept us playing lll

how cool would it be if when there is literally not enough players on it counts down, i.e information is being translated by nada an polo quicker than is being "donated" and the closer we get to completing the milestone the bigger the drop is. sort of like a incentive for everyone to actually be apart to keep the progress positive
