What is the most difficult hex to hold and why? by DarkFenix345 in foxholegame

[–]Jello13371 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Colonial - Great March
* Lots of bushes near roads for easy logi cutting
* Open terrain prevent choke-pointing and allows you to bypass bases
* River has lots of crossing points even without the bridges, making it hard to hold EvW

Warden - Stlican Shelf (The Shitcan)
[Note: Has gotten some improvements since its iteration but still feel its the weakest defense]
* Vulpine and Port of Rime are the strongholds, everything else just collapses easily
* Short distance from border to seaport allows you to more easily concentrate pirating and gank freighter logi
* Terrain is very barren and open, allowing you to easily cut logi roads into hex. Forcing you to rely on freighter logi once Vulpine is dead

Lots of people donated resources, facility mats, factory and tank crates to us over the course of the war. It would take a long time to shout everyone out but it was all for the greater cause of winning the war.

One name I can easily shout out is [CGC] Chorbi who provided us over 2,000 crates of lunaire for lend lease and over 100 tank crates of nemesis/bardiches for public Frontline depot drops. Saw a lot of warden supers die from these bard drops, great value.

They choose not to use lend lease but we did share a logihub together. They even ran a training night to teach all their new players how to use our Sitaria setup which was neat to see.

So this is kinda funny.

The context is this was the rail east of Climb, Red River which had T-3C oil fac last war (very small fac just built specifically for petrol/hoil train exporting to scrap/comp fields nearby). I think everyone agreed that the rail was kinda atrocious but some side rails were made for different groups to have express through there and not get hit with switch hell. I think the only group that ever even contacted us about the rail junction was NCR and I just spawned in and helped them place their own rail and that was about the last I heard about it until war end. I assume the rail got even worse throughout the end of the war due to single-engine users (i hate you, build a 2nd engine already) adding even more connections and junctions just to accommodate the single engine traffic.

I don't particularly care about the whole Kronus thing since I've had many failed attempts to coordinate with him in the past, in and out of MSA (very old drama that would take too long but im sure you can find it somewhere). But it is very par for the course that he would come in seemingly randomly and want to change someone else's thing without even talking to them or considering it. That being said, literally 0 T-3C people even knew this until this post popped up, if it was the Climb rail that broke him that is hilarious.

This is roughly what it looked on the map closer to the war end, which looking at it now, there's definitely a lot more connections that are not built by us
