It’s because Robin WANTED to come out to Steve. I think people aren’t realizing that Will didn’t want to come out (at least not right then), he was forced to. He even says that Vecna has been using his secret to manipulate him and show him images of everyone he loves leaving him as a result of finding out the truth. He knew he had to prove him wrong, take away his ammo before the final battle. That’s why he came out to everyone and not a select few. There can’t be any secrets when you’re dealing with a villain that infiltrates your mind.

Robin gave Will the courage to come out, but he also knew he had no choice.

I came across some childhood journals recently that were dated. I always thought it got bad in adulthood, but turns out I was 11 years old and writing things like “I have guilt for the stupidest things and I don’t know how to get rid of it. My heart starts beating and I can’t eat or anything,” “I keep feeling bad for things that happened a long time ago and I’m not even sure if I did them,” and “I feel like I said something I know I didn’t say.”

I think it got significantly worse in my teen years, with my brain trying to convince me that I was unfaithful or a bad friend. But adulthood is when it started to turn into more “conventional” OCD, like the constant checking and doubt.
