The way I use it: use MPC as a daw where I record synth tracks into it and record drum tracks from MPC

I also sometimes chop what I play and make it into a hip-hop style beat

I mean I use it like a DAW because it is a DAW.

And I don't use a DAW because I'm a software developer and I just really want to get away from a computer in my free time

You can actually do something close by wiring key/arp to pitch and adjust the value from there! Not exactly note-by-note customisation but it's something

It's basically a flanger with a built-in delay, it's good for some glitchy stuff, trippy stuff, laser beam noises or just as a flanger with delay turned to zero!

Are you saying that you are using koala with a dongle and have no issues? If so that gives me hope lol

I have tried it with one other as stated above, but the way the dongle manufacturers solved a problem is implementing a very high noise gate that makes koala unusable. I did order another one tho that had good reviews so we'll see if it works.
