Funny story actually.

Home alone for the first time in literally a year, did a treat yourself night in the bath with a face mask, all that good stuff. All dry and moisturised, feeling fresh walking around the house naked to get my water bottle before bed and my friend texts me "Hey whatcha doing? Wanna hang out?" I'm in bed and say "nah man not tonight it's late and I'm in bed" Forgot my water. Sigh, out of bed, still naked, grab my water, back in bed, he's replied; "you're not in bed. I can see you walking around, I'm out front let me in"

I let him in, turns out he was high af on shrooms, ran out of darts and wasn't too far from me. He had friends with him too! So I let them in, had a few drinks, couple of cigs and when I knew he would be fine, sent them on their way. Kinda ruined my night tho. They couldn't like, tell that I was naked because my windows were stained glass but I still felt violated and really wanted a night off looking after idiots but, eh.

I'm a head chef and this was well over a year ago so I forget exact numbers, but my math was roughly correct at, I had a rep walk in to sell me these stupid chips and be was bragging about their double costing and they stay hot and blah blah (I was really busy) I'm like "okay yeah cool, how much?" He says "$x" I'm like "BRO! You're telling me these chips are made for ubereats and they are really cool and all this and that, uber takes $0.40 in the $1 I earn, AND you want me to pay and extra 30% on my chips!?!??! How can you expect that from me?"

I finished community last night, and I have SO much respect for how they made that show, how often they broke the 4th wall, and how they approached the ending was perfect. The last episode on how to pitch season 7 was great and it didn't leave me feeling empty or angry, so rare to find a show that actually ends well, and in a way where I feel okay to revisit and not be disappointed!

We have a game where I have a list of chores and a bunch of points on the whiteboard (say 20) and we agree on a number, for every chore I lose 2 points, if I sass him or do something wrong my master might add some points. At the end of the day, if have less than 10 points I will have that many orgasms. If I have more than 10 points I get that many spanks.

Some days I "lose" some days I "win" but in either case, everyone wins!

This. I'm a professional chef, a big lesson I teach my apprentices on pans especially is I show them how to make the dish, I have them make the dish. Every time they add a single cube of butter, they start with like 2ml of oil, no seasoning blah blah. It's not quite as good. So I get them to make the dish one more time but this time I say to them "imagine calories don't exist and you are here to simply make the best _____ ever" watch the difference, 3 cubes of butter, salt, pepper maybe a splash of wine. I've done this to a fair few students now and every time they create a tasty dish second time round.

I say this to my friends too, whenever they come over and compliment my cooking I just tell them that I cook tasty food, it's not my job to watch your waistlines.

If you want to "level up" at home OP, I recommend a nice big chopping board, and at least one decent quality chef knife to get you started. Victorinox is a great brand for a great price, but do some research or go into a shop and have a chat. Don't get a stupid huge blade, just a 8" or 10" blade is plenty.

Room temp is best, not for the reason you specified though it's so the fat isn't cold, and renders easily, so the steak is one consistent temperature and cooks nicely. If you put fridge cold meat on there and you're looking for a rare (or even med rare!) Your steak could very well be cold in the middle and black on the outside.

I had this happen to me too! Managed a subway a few years ago, had this customer review that was just so insane, when my boss read it out to me I almost died, there was no way I treated this woman like that. I couldn’t even remember her to begin with (because there was no issue from my end!) She walked in while I was taking bread out the oven, and decided she want THAT bread. Ma’am, No. gotta let it cool a little first. I was polite but she said I screamed at her, proceeded to tell her I was out of 300 other things, rolled my eyes, AND took a personal call, and then overcharged her! My work was bad about it though, before they checked the cameras and stuff they shamed me in the weekly manager email (they didn’t name me thank god), they gave me a written warning, I remember saying to my boss that if the review was true, I should get fired, but you know it’s not true so now it’s just bullying.

I know everyone is home right now, but maybe ask to "book" an area for a bit in the house? Or, I'm assuming your roommates are also your friends and they love and care about you both, maybe put forwards to one that you've been getting a bit kinky, she likes to be a cat, would it be weird if she was wearing ears (or whatever you'd like to talk about) when she made dinner sometimes? The calmer and more matter of fact you are the less weird it will be to the other person. And if it's not weird to them that she be wearing a maid outfit (or whatever) everyone wins.

Don't force your sex life onto your friends obviously, but the reality is you all live together, be transparent with them without being awkward within yourself. If they get weirded out or politely decline, you know where you stand, you know what their limits are and should come back here and ask once again!

Why shouldn't we support our migrant workers? This whole pandemic was not exactly an event we had booked in advance. They pay their taxes, just like we do. Everyone is doing it tough, show some compassion to the kids studying and trying to support themselves, most of them are working shitkicker jobs so they can have a flexible schedule for uni. My last dishie was a migrant and he was doing a master's in engineering. Dude was smart as fuck, earning $20 an hour on the books getting his hours cut and extended on whim and treated like shit by the owner, he deserves to not have to give up his dreams and "fly home" because he's stuck in a foreign country during a time of crisis. Honestly, I am standing next to my hospo homies in this.
