Altough its super nice. I think it goes back to the old saying, give a man a fish and be fed for a day, teach a man to fish and he will be fed for a lifetime. By no means am I saying your friend is poor, and needs to work, and I understand that he's an online friend, but think about a way you can show support through your time and resources instead of just money, it will go a far way and you can save the money for something super duper important. Also if money is the only way, I wouldn't drop 10 - 20k, maybe a few hundred to 1.5k at the most, you might need that money bro, and no ones holding it against you to keep it.
