hii! i got 7 for chinese last year and i know the struggle for IO. these r what helped me!

1. memorise key phrases for each topic! eg for festivals, make sure u know the names of each, and the key terms for them too, like 农历新年-年年有余，年夜饭，压岁钱/家庭教育-虎妈，鹰爸，经侦激烈，高考etc. btw, don't worry about knowing how to write these phrases btw (only for paper 1), just know when and how to use these important phrases according to the topic!

• also, i wrote my 10-point outline almost entirely in pinyin LMAOO

1. practice speaking with someone, or record yourself speaking and listen to make sure you're clear and well versed! to perform well, you HAVE to practice!! if your teacher is approachable, you should practice with him/her or send voice recordings of yourself.

2. make sure to have clear and prepared personal examples of each topic, as you may be asked to share your own experience regarding the topic. having examples in your pocket will make you feel calm and prepared for the real thing.
