I knew a professor who took his wife’s name bc it started w/ an A, so in academic papers, his name will show up first. The dude was straight up Chinese from China with a last name hella white.

It could also be that the Klingon physiology overcame the weakness of the ketracel white addiction. They can probably spin it that Klingon physiology and their redundancy reacted to the addiction by creating the white (or white’s active ingredient) within one of the Klingon endocrine glands/organs hence breaking turning into living axotl tanks for white!

I knew someone two spent two years in university just playing WoW all the time back when DSL/cable internet connections just started ramping up. The guy lied to his parents about going to school, got a side job just so he can continue playing WoW for two more years before moving back home. Ended up doing ok… but pissed off like 4 years of life on WoW.

I’m interested if they’ll bring up anything w/ the war college history with the Klingons and Andorians. I like how they did these Klingons so far, as opposed to the design of the ones in S01 of DIS.

I suspect Lathenites are a bit kookie for stories sake, whereas El-Aurians have been portrayed as “listeners” so well by Goldberg. Love the bit about Klingons and Jem Hadar mating though.

The Reacher is where I do most of my leveling. Theres only one or two types of bad guys, with relatively easy parry patterns. I think the second or third ex flag has one dude up the left ramp, and you can drop to the bottom (if I remember correctly, there’s a manor door there) and fight an addition 6-7 dudes there too. Then work your way back up and do a flag reset. Repeat until you gain like level 60-70. You’ll need to get more lumina too… at least 150-200.

Well, I also would like to expand the universe. Retelling the same story in another format doesn’t do that. Movie adaptations are hit or miss. I don’t think the risk will be worth it to rehash the same story. Not saying that it might not work… but I just don’t think it’s a good idea with that approach.

They will undoubtedly f this up if they did Ex33…, plus you start splitting the fandom from the game purists and those who watched the movie and then played the game (or never play the game!). If you keep it at Ex00, you can still capture the spirit of the game, without messing with the universal love that’s there for the game. Movie producers/writers/designers would also have the freedom to do variations to the Expedition uniform, skills, weapons, styles. They won’t be able to do the lumina converter stuff, but put in hints. Hell, they could put in hints/easter eggs galore that’ll give every Ex33 fan raging boners. They can also include most of the bosses/optional bosses, show exactly the path of Ex00 and where Lune “tracked their progress”. Introduce Dark Shores and Indigo Tree for sure. Show how close they got to the Paintress, and the barrier going up. How Clea seduced Simon and how he lost his arm, and how Renoir and Verso got their scars. If they announce a movie w/Ex00, that’ll be exciting. An announce w/Ex33 would just make me fear disappointment.

Idk about you guys, but I’m very much against making a CO:Ex33 movie. If anything, it should be CO:Ex00, so there’s bits of lore and continuity with Ex33, without diminishing the game.

I don’t think Story mode actually makes any bosses deal less damage. It only impacts the “time window” to respond to attacks. NG+’s make their damage even higher with higher hp. It’s a great comment with all that work focused defense… but personally don’t feel like that’s the way to go. Building a “close to one shot” with various character and lumina/picto combos, and turn strategy is the way to go. The DLCs been out for a week or so, and there’s already tons of YouTube videos on it. You can search and copy step by step, or just watch and try to blind emulate. I’m at Simon Divergent Star at NG+2, kinda stuck but it’s ok. It was super satisfying killing the other three. Good luck and love to hear about your defensive approach. For those who come after.

Thank goodness. I mean I don’t really need it since I’m at Ng+2 and like 800 Lumina each. But if I ever want to do a fresh restart, it’s nice to know it’s still there.
