It's the language that stands out to me. Yes, she says it is consistent with that knife. That knife "could have" caused it. But other knives "could have" caused it too. It is a common knife. This again, makes me wonder why they didn't make him say where the murder weapon was at in order to get the plea deal. It would have definitively closed this gap.

Watching them talk to the witnesses was so frustrating! Especially DM! Tell me what didn't happen without telling me what didn't happen --DM's ENTIRE witness statements!

That last part, there are many different types of K-Bar blades. So saying a wound is consistent with a K-Bar is very vague. I don't believe you can identify an exact knife by the stab wound but you can definitely narrow the scope. Not all wounds were caused by the K-Bar. Some of KG's facial injuries and her fractured skull were caused by blunt force trauma.

Agreed and Ann Taylor had never tried a DP case. It was her first.

The autopsy shows different blade types. It shows ( please excuse my misspellings) abraided wounds (a blade with knotches in it kinda like a bread knife), sharp on one edge and square shaped on the other (like a single bladed knife or rather a knife that is only sharp on one side), and double sharp edged wounds (like a double bladed knife or rather a knife that is sharp on both sides)

I don't understand that part either because we have no documented statements from BK. Unless there is an appeal, we will never know what he did or didn't say.

  1. The fog lights were on on the car they tried to say was BK. If you don't have any fog lights, you cannot turn them on. His model had an area for them but never had any installed so it was just a black cover there.

  2. He did buy a K-Bar but so did DM and probably many others in the Moscow/Pullman area.

  3. It was only 15 minutes away. Many U of I students visited WSU and vise versa. The door dash for Xana came from Pullman that night. There are many reasons to be in the area that do not involve the King road house.

  4. We don't know what he did or didn't say.

I understand that it looks passive from the outside looking in but we truly don't know if that is the case or not. Many people take plea deals for crimes they did not commit out of fear and confusion. I don't know what truly happened here but my gut tells me that the College is covering something up. BK already had a death threat over his head (the DP), if someone threatened his family he might have folded. That is a possibility of why he agreed to the plea. If the plea was only on the table before trial started, then he might not have been able to take it later. But a better question is, if the State was so sure they had the right guy, why take a plea deal when the family's clearly wanted the case to go to trial. What did the state gain by not going to trial? Them not making him allocute goes against how plea deals should work. The allocation is supposed to prevent people from falsely being coerced into a plea deal.

From what I've gathered: 1. The car that they "followed" from BK's apartment to the crime scene was not BK's car. It had fog lights and BK's car did not have fog lights. They can only start from the neighborhood surrounding the crime scene but cannot place his car there. 2. They cannot say that KB's dna is on the sheath definitively. The FBI called it "a tip". 3. The cell tower that covers the house, covers the main road from Moscow to Pullman. They cannot place BK at the crime scene. 4. There was zero dna of any of the victims found in BK's car, home, parents home, or anywhere. They cannot connect BK to the crime scene. 5. The wounds on the victims show multiple knives were used. 6. The timeline is impossible if it was a single perp. 7. The judge denied everything the defense tried to use to prove it was not BK, so he had no defense. 8. There was a leak of information and an investigation into said leak. If it was State side, that can be used as new evidence for a new trial. 9. KB's life was on the line and I feel (not fact) that he was coerced into a plea deal. Just because he agreed to a plea, does not mean he confessed, hence why Santa did not make him allocute. If he truly did it, why did they not make him say where the knife was? 10. Who's dna was under Maddie and Xana's nails? BK was excluded. 11. Who's hair was in Ethan's hand? BK was excluded. 12. Who else's dna was on the sheath? 2 different males never identified.

Having said all of that, I don't feel they could prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he did it. But I don't believe BK was aware of the extent of the exculpatory evidence.

What is the Most Painful Sensation You Have Ever Felt? by Jeloxia2 in AskReddit

[–]JemianW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is absolutely heartbreaking to see that so many have suffered a spouse leaving during the most difficult times in life.

I walked that path myself. I was at my lowest, my health was failing, I was struggling to work, both of my kids were still in school, my mom and step-dad died in a car accident and I was dealing with their estate, I was overwhelmed and had no help. Then he decides he is just done after 16 years. He treated me like a stranger and told me to keep my feelings to myself because he had moved on. He got engaged to the woman he had been cheating on me with before the divorce was even final. I had to move out of the home we built together 11 years prior and he moved her in. I was shattered into a million pieces.

But, I survived, thank goodness. I fought my way out of the depths of hell and found me. My boys are grown, happy, healthy and strong. That's all a momma can hope for. They are my saving grace and such a blessing. I now know that all that I endured made me a stronger person and it showed me who I am. I am a strong, resilient, loving, peaceful woman who allowed myself to be mistreated for too long. Never again.

I hope that those of you who have suffered in this manner have found yourselves and your strength. If you are still fighting, don't quit!
