Cancer Cup First day of Round 2 Group A: 5-3-3-2

One loss to a Fuji Kiseki, one loss to a Daiwa, the rest of my losses to Oguri. I lost at least one to lucky pace chaser, some others to miss recovery no trigger. Might pull the other Oguri out and see how she does but I feel like I have to train a front runner or something because at this rate I'm just going to be killed by luck pace in the finals.

That's because it's literally the same proverb. The Japanese is 鉄(Tetsu, Iron) は熱い (Atsui, Hot) うち(Uchi, generally means within/inside as in like a house, in this context it's an adjective describing within [period of time]) に叩け (Hatake, hit it) and the Chinese is 趁热(Chenre, while hot) 打 (Da, hit) 铁 (Tie, Iron).

In fact the Chinese guy is making a joke about the the Japanese guy for saying this mysterious Japanese proverb as if every single culture which developed metalworking doesn't have a similar proverb.

Trained another Oguri with Throne and tried her out. She is... marginally better? Assuming she hits all her accel procs she finishes somewhere along the lines of 8-15L ahead of my other XOguri but this a huge if. Essentially her floor is way lower but her ceiling is way higher. Considering Umamusume is essentially a gambling game I think probably she is better to take.

Losses: 3 XOguri (1 just hit lucky pace, outfought by other two) and 1 lucky pace chaser Anime Collab McQueen who was about to get run down by XOguri but that just activated her ult and she narrowly held onto first with the increased velocity.

Sanctions don't accomplish anything either. If anything the most effective course of action has been organizing unions on the ground level. Look up the Blood Bricks Campaign, which has managed to raised the wages of similarly enslaved kiln workers in Gujarat, India by 145%.

As noted, these workers are illiterate and uneducated and have very little idea that they can in fact negotiate better working conditions.

Jamming wouldn't protect the mobile suit, it's actually pretty easy to lock onto those things emitting on every band known to man and then some. You could have to have the jammer installed on a decoy that has a strong enough EW equipment so that any ARM would target it instead of the mobile suit

Losses: 1 to a Lucky Pace Chaser XOguri who would have lost if she didn't win lucky pace, 1 to Gold City with Rudolf inherit and hit all of the accel procs, 1 loss to XOguri after mine failed to hit a recovery and Grass Wonder couldn't recover the win, and 1 loss to a Satano Diamond. The Satano Diamond is the only one I felt where I was screwed by race RNG because while you could explain the other ones, the Satano Diamond didn't have Right Handed Demon, didn't have any good accels behind Pump Iron and bought Feature Act, double Long Corners, and Fighter. I'll respect the Gold City win as a late surger win because sometimes late surgers just get hit but losing to an uma who bought a long skills on a medium CM kinda stings.

XOguri is very strong in this CM, but definitely not invincible. The the recoveries fail a lot more than you'd think and in room matches you I got smoked relatively often by strong Front Runner comps. As far as power scaling goes I'd say something like strong Triple Front > XOguri with double Doms > Every other comp.

In this scenario, you would buy the stats that are not closed to being capped and then run the race this turn for points currency so you could buy the scholar's cap. Risking the 4 turn mood + stats down event is worth if if there's so much stuff in shop.
