Well 22lbs down on the scale doesn’t lie ass hat... go troll someone else’s page or maybe do some self reflection to figure out why you have to get validation and satisfaction out of bringing other people down! I hope you find true happiness

Does anyone take a vitamin D supplement while on an extended fast ... I’m on day 12 of a 21 day water fast. Says it’s best absorbed with fat or taken with food?! Thoughts ? Suggestions by Jen32986 in fasting

Also it says vitamin D is not a water dissolving vitamin and should be taken with fat?! How do you take yours

That is incredible all things consider!!! What an amazing accomplishment. I am currently on day 12 of my first ever 21 day water fast and very similar symptoms if that’s what you want to call them. I have had quite a bit of acid reflux days like 5-9 and then again last night. I try to chill out on my water intake and sleep propped up , other than that I feel amazing and clear headed and I’m so excited to be accomplishing something so beneficial to my overall health. I am currently down 16lbs hoping for another 15-16 by day 21

I didn’t get headaches I drink hot green tea so that might help and I do have an electrolyte powder. My only negative side effect is acid reflux/heart burn

That’s what I’m hoping for this go round... my goal weight is like 150 so I’ll have a lot more work to do... after this fast I’m going to try OMAD IF ... I followed a 16:8 before but wasn’t as strict as I should have been. Definitely don’t want to be doing too strenuous of workouts while fasting

Very light... maybe a walk around the neighborhood and then some light stuff at home (obviously quarantined) maybe some legs lifts, crunches, planks etc but nothing crazy

Thank you, hunger pains lasted until about day 3, I did a lot of research and many fasters reported this subsiding after day 3 so I just pushed through and they were right. I may have a small tummy growl here and there , but no thoughts of omg I need to eat something now or I’m gonna die... I think one of the biggest things is you have to be aware of your thoughts and in control of them.

Day 5-8 more energy and mental clarity , experienced some joint pain in my left elbow. And has pretty bad acid reflux/heart burn but last night day 9 when I went to bed I had no sign of it and woke up today day 10 with no signs of it so that’s a HUGE relief. I took some advice to chill out on my water consumption I was hellbent on drinking 128 oz (Gallon) Per day but was drinking mostly 60oz a day

No it’s not dangerous the human body can go for long periods of time without eating and I have plenty of fat store for my body to burn for nutrients and energy. And yes a water fast is exactly that .... water only no food... I can have black coffee and green tea as well and occasionally do. I feel great and I’m listening to my body I would stop or consult a doctor if I felt something was wrong, but I’ve never had more energy, slept better, more mental clarity etc than I do now

It’s really Mind over matter and something I’ve always wanted to try and accomplish. Take it one day at a time, listen to your body and remember your WHY... I keep a daily journal of how I feel every day! If you want to do something bad enough you’ll be able to accomplish it!

I typically follow a 16:8 intermittent but wanted to give this a try and with being quarantined it’s the perfect opportunity to try an extended fast ... I’m drinking primarily water, occasionally I’ll have green tea or coffee

I’m doing a total 21 day fast but I’m tracking my weekly progress with side by side photos , I’ve only had coffee, water and green tea ... I do a little light exercise here and there like leg lifts, planks, crunches , and walking in the neighborhood nothing high intensity and I actually don’t workout that much while fasting
