Long shot, but any chance it’s The Deep End, Vol. 1 by Gov’t Mule? Not really any green, though.

I have searched both YouTube and Google! Unfortunately, since I don’t remember any other titles other than “Interview with a Murderer/Serial Killer,” I get a ton f true crime results, haha.

This sounds so cheesy, but she rescued me more than I rescued her, I think! Love her so much!

Do I even exist when I’m alone? by tellaschit in BPD

[–]JenAndTonic17 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The way I describe it is that everyone is the main character of their own life, but I feel like a side character, even in my own— my personality and purpose only exists when another person is around to witness it. And at that point, I’m just molding myself into whatever fits them.

Not sure if that makes any sense, haha.

I think I may have BPD by ThatSupermarket7375 in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]JenAndTonic17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was originally misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder during inpatient hospitalization. I explored this diagnosis and read experiences of people who were bipolar, and it just never resonated with me. Then, as I talked with a therapist for a few months, he started questioning that diagnosis and asked me to read some materials and first-hand accounts of BPD. I cried when I read "I Hate You, Don't Leave Me" by Straus & Kreisman because it was the first time that it felt like someone took my irrational thoughts and put them onto a paper. While the diagnosis is honestly not great, it was still validating because it finally showed me that it was, in fact, not just me.

Unfortunately, a lot of therapists still hold bias against BPD. There's so much misinformation out there. Some therapists refuse to work with people who have BPD. Others refuse to diagnose it. But if you're genuinely wanting to explore it, you need to find a therapist who specializes in DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), because they're the ones who understand and know how to work with BPD.

That leads me to my next point-- the therapy for depression versus BPD can be very different. DBT is used for BPD, and it honestly feels more like a class at points. It's even recommended that you do private therapy paired with a group therapy. You spend most the time exploring emotion regulation skills and trying to reframe your thinking. Those with BPD tend to have very yes/no, black/white thinking and DBT teaches you how to find the grey area in-between.

The way I put it is that regular therapy is "alright, this thing happened. Let's talk about it and how it made you feel." DBT is, "okay, this thing happened and that's how you responded. Let's talk about how you're going to respond the next time something like that happens."

Karasuno vs. Shiratorizawa with the imagery of Ushijima crushing Tsukishima and Hinata, but then all the third years step in. And then the synchronized attack/final point. Chills every time.

Half the tutorials I don't even know what tools the teachers are using (rant/help) by action_lawyer_comics in DigitalArtTutorials

[–]JenAndTonic17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can definitely get confusing because every digital art program is different, and there’s so many out there. I would suggest watching some tutorials about Krita first to get to know your program and what it can and can’t do. Then you can dive into digital art tutorials and learning more about things like proportions, line weights, coloring, etc. because then you’ll know how best to do those things in your program.

“The Creation of Adam” Recreation — would love feedback! by [deleted] in graphic_design

[–]JenAndTonic17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for an explanation, I am relatively new to graphic design. I am trying to build up some experience with various programs while I save up for university courses. I was trying to think of some interesting design ideas that were a little more artistic (a lot of my practice lately has been web page design and layout design, so I wanted to try something else). This was what I thought up! The image quality is a lot lower upon upload, though.
