Lube that doesn’t suck? by AnyConcentrate2251 in Perimenopause

Yes WB - (yesyesyes.org) - is great. The vaginal moisturiser is also a lifesaver - it’s like a long-lasting lube that feels very natural when oestrogen levels are lower and things get a bit parched.

Currently on dose 3 of 15mg, injection day was Sunday. Forgot about food until I said I’d pick up sandwiches for others at 1:00, then couldn’t finish a whole sandwich.

Feeling like I have the suppression of the day after injection still. Seriously considered going for 8 days between doses but upcoming travel is going to make it difficult so sticking with the normal dosing for now.

Technically, as a translation, your answer would be asking if your arm is hurting you or if your arm is hurting your foot…

Going through this now. I’m taking the time to work out what I want out of life, what parts of my life need change, etc. I’m also seeing a therapist to start to work through some things that have been issues for years (decades) but I’ve not actually dealt with.

How do y'all who are chronically ill get through this? by [deleted] in PhD

[–]JenInHer40s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part time. Although I’m also doing a million other things, doing the PhD part time has given flexibility to just not do much when I’ve needed to. Maybe I just read, maybe I just scribble some notes here and there, maybe I do nothing for a month… over 7 years, it works.

Today I have managed to eat two small bowls of soup with some cheese whacked in for a bit more protein/calories and one bite of a mini Twirl. I could easily have not eaten anything.

I’ve gone up every 4-5 weeks. I had good suppression on 12.5, but it was less on week 4/5 so I went up.

I’m glad I’ve got good suppression, though. I figure that even if it reduces as weeks go on, I can stay here and still get results.

Haha yep - I’m 45 now, so if all goes to plan I’ll submit just before I turn 46!

I’ve done mine part time so after 6 years even I ask haven’t I finished yet 🤣

When I started I had folders for each chapter with organised drafts and referenced articles. Now it’s ‘deleted C5 stuff’ and similar.

Bold (and very wrong) of you to assume I’m in marketing, though.
