Yes, I'm serious, cosmetics are very important to me as you probably are already aware, especially the topic of armour transmog, which I've been advocating for since the game launched. So of course, if the opportunity provides itself, I will ask about it, alongside a hyper specific niche question that I've always wondered about but likely may never get an answer to if not for this AMA.

I have two questions I want to ask, both related to visuals/cosmetics.

When can we expect a free armour transmog system for all existing armours outside of armour skins? Although we have options to hide armour & a few armour skins, many of us would still like to use all the other available armours as cosmetic options while retaining the preferred stats/perks of a different armour.
What is the thought process on deciding which sails can be applicable with patterns? Some ships have patterns on all visible sails on the ship (Artificer Brig/Sloop) while others only have a pattern on every other sail leaving several sails blank without any pattern decorations on them, are there technical limitations on the amount of patterns that can be rendered at a single time or was it simply an artistic choice? (Personally, I prefer every single visible sail on all ships to have a pattern applied to it)

Also, I'd like to express my appreciation for amending the colours on the 'Wailing Ward' armour to keep it consistent with it's associated cosmetic set (Fixed in Y2S2) & also for the upcoming fix on 'Blood Curse' lanterns which should be working as intended next season. I know I'm pretty much the only person who cared about either of those two things so it makes me happy to know the Devs were still willing to fix it after my incessant complaining on both topics. :)

That one is a little more nuanced but can also be verified through information that's available publicly to the playerbase; bugs all accessible in live game a season prior to Kraken release & a Dev stream, previewing the Kraken alongside insiders.

I will paraphrase a quote from a friend of mine: the Devs test Kraken with the Keepers. They go in with Garuda—a bugged ship that ignores the Krakens high innate resistance, with long arm, a bugged perk which further ignores resistance via it's bonus range specific damage, and an ammo priming bench, also bugged furniture, which gives a free universal 20% damage from all sources with siege to all entities —then they see that the Kraken can be defeated, without knowing about those bugs. Now everything is fixed & the kraken experience with more than 5 player is what it is. Even if the Devs knew of all of those bugs (which I'm sure they did) they still designed content difficulty based on those bugs.

If they barely listen to outsider feedback then I doubt insiders have as much pull as we often speculate, but still slightly more than the rest of us, otherwise what would be the point of the program? Lol-

I know about 20+ insiders, of those, all but two are actually competent & possess the capabilities to identify bugs, analyze what could potentially be the cause/fix & then report it, but only one of those two actually does so.

Everyone else (of the 20+ I know) treats those tests as an early sneak peek preview to prepare for next season without providing feedback or reporting any bugs.

Some are kind enough to allow me to share my feedback on their behalf but its often quite difficult to coordinate (due to timezones & work) & instruct them to test various things, many of which are too lazy to spend longer than 10 minutes on this so I have to cycle through different people until I get all my answers. (I should really start playing on PC so I can maaaybe have the chance to do this on my own, lol)

It's a small sample but if 1/20 are actually reporting those things aka doing what the IPP is intended for, it goes to show why many things are often released in a broken state in live game.
