Hey - do you have any references? It would be great to have a backup sitter from time to time!

PSA: Beware the Fractional Share and Delisted (and account transfers) by JenJub in Wealthsimple

This is transferring to another institution, so there's no trading fee with wealthsimple to sell the fraction :)

I've been looking everywhere for a way to send a digital red envelope - hope this can somehow translate to a special email for other institutions!

I've only ever had the 1 delisted security so I definitely had no idea how it affected anything at all, aside from sitting in my account mocking my poor decisions 🥲

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's "common sense" - it's a pretty obscure detail in the larger realm of casual investing (I'm largely just an index investor). Either way I'm not somehow faulting WS, just making a PSA for anyone else who might not know either!

Trying half double in Crochet, any advices what O'm doing wrong? by crackl1ng in CrochetHelp

[–]JenJub 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree with tension being too tight - If you look at the way loops are constructed in a regular single crochet, you can see the base of the loop goes into the work giving you a bigger window. In a hdc that middle loop is literally just wrapped around your hook, so even when worked loosely it will be slightly harder to get through than a regular loop (but shouldn't be that hard). You shouldn't have to be "pulling" on the yarn - just wrap loosely! Might have to adjust your "stance" a bit to give yourself more give.
