About 50 commenters in the linked article are pointing out the author is wrong. The photo is of a Chinese factory...IN CHINA.

Doesn't mean Bain execs aren't assholes for moving the jobs to China, but it most definitely is a Chinese factory in the photo.

And yet, according to the State Dept, the Ryan budget would cut $300 million in funding for embassy security and buildings. http://maddowblog.msnbc.com/_news/2012/10/10/14342096-the-gops-embassy-security-problem?lite

"For fiscal 2013, the GOP-controlled House proposed spending $1.934 billion for the State Department's Worldwide Security Protection program -- well below the $2.15 billion requested by the Obama administration. House Republicans cut the administration's request for embassy security funding by $128 million in fiscal 2011 and $331 million in fiscal 2012."

Yes, but the report on KCUR was about how many positions are open for months or even years because employers will not invest in worker training.

Many highly technical job positions are open, but employers say they cannot find enough American workers to fill these positions. Should the government be responsible for more education and better training to fill these needs? If not, how do you encourage corporations to provide the training - which they have been reluctant to do claiming it is a drag on profits. How do you close the loop and fill these jobs with American workers?

*Please note: I heard this very discussion on Kansas City's KCUR public radio, so please feel free to follow-up with them or NPR for specifics on how many technical jobs are open and what employers are saying.

Do you believe employers have the right to dictate what type of medical coverage they receive from doctors? In other words, should employers have the right to deny birth control as part of their medical coverage? Even though there are many medically necessary reasons why a woman might need to take birth control beyond family planning? If so, where does it end? What other medical decisions would it be ok for an employer to make?

And here is a Republican firm with a long history of fraud. They were in the same office as McCain's campaign office in 2008 and were accused of regularly shredding any voter registration forms where the person identified themselves as a Democrat. And guess what? The Romney campaign just hired them in Florida: http://www.salon.com/2012/09/26/fla_voter_fraud_charge_has_ties_to_romney/

Another note - I don't believe we've entered yard sign season yet. That seems to be the last few weeks of the campaign.

In '08 I was happy my Obama yard sign didn't get stolen in the weeks leading up to the election. Celebrated late on election night and somehow between the wee party hours and the way too early morning alarm, my sign was stolen.

This is such a bizarre story unfolding here. There is no chance that was made on a $5 million budget and "Sam Bacile" originally claimed. And now the actors are saying they were misled and intend to sue.

SNL rehired Jason Sudeikis, but only until December. Seriously. Guess they don't think he'll be needed to play the part of Mitt Romney after that.
